I wish there were more small town restaurants like this one! I have been twice in the last month and absolutely love it! On my first visit, I had the chicken fried steak and fried okra, which were perfect. On my second trip, I had the roast beef special of the day and onion rings. The roast beef was some of the best I have ever had and the brown gravy was delicious!! It also has the best customer service. Kyle, the owner, greets everyone when they walk in and when they leave. I love the decor and the amazing paintings on the walls depicting the Oklahoma Land Run! I highly recommend this place!
The food is EXCELLENT! Only negative is because food is so good, the place is packed! Very little wait even though it’s full. I don’t know how they do it! Best friend chicken tenders I’ve ever eaten! Chicken fried steak up with the absolute best! Cut it with a fork!
The food, atmosphere, and customer service was AMAZING!! Everything can be ordered gluten free and it’s the best I’ve ever tasted! Some of the best okra I’ve had. Desserts were amazing. The owner (Kyle) welcomed us when we entered and remembered all of our first names when we left. HIGHLY recommend to make a short drive out to Mounds. Jay McCurry, Tulsa, OK
Well this Gluten Free guy..finally made it out to Cafe 75 in Mounds. The service, THE FOOD, both Amazing. The chicken fried steak stayed crispy and never got soggy with the gravy. The fries were seasoned perfectly. They have Regular and Gluten Free versions of pretty much everything on the menu. Reasonably priced, worth the drive. 💯
It was like home away from home. We had a party of seven with us, found a table, and went up to the register to ask for menus. The staff were so friendly and helped us. They pointed out their favorites on the menu, explained to us to order at the register, and they would take care of the rest. I am from a small town originally, and this place felt right at home. I loved the small town feel restaurant, especially the owner or manager walking around talking to each table to make sure everyone was acknowledged. The chicken strip dinner, chicken fried steak dinner, and hamburgers are so delicious!! We split the meals between the seven of us to try a little of them. We will be back and have been recommending this quaint restaurant to others. They treat you like family.
ALWAYS great service and even better food. You can truly tell it's made with love. It's not fast food and it's a hole in the wall, so expect there may be a wait but it will ALWAYS be worth it. The family that runs it is always so kind and always does their best to remember us each time we are in. Can't recommend their chicken, chicken fried steaks, fries, rolls, and pies enough in one post. They are as good as grandma made!!!!
Our new favorite restaurant! The food, the atmosphere, it’s all amazing top notch quality! Good home cooking that is consistently delicious every time. The fact that I can get Gluten Free chicken fried steak, onion brings, and fried chicken fingers makes it even better! The GF chocolate sheet cake is to die for too! Cafe 75 is a place our whole family enjoys….we will be frequent customers!
My wife and I heard about this place and wanted to try. I can tell you our meal might be the best overall dinning experience ever. I ordered a double cheeseburger. My wife ordered the sliders. They were amazing. The fries were awesome. Kyle the owner greeted us and ask our names as he seems to meet everyone. The most amazing thing is he came back to our table several times to check on us and remembered our names. We cannot wait to go back and try more entrees. Highly recommend !!
