Very cute and small local diner, this place is fantastic. Not huge portions, which are nice, bit quality food cooked with love. About a 20 minute drive from Bellingham but worth the journey.
This is a great place to eat. The food is priced great with good portions, the staff is very friendly and always make you feel welcome. If your in town or nearby you should try them out.
Food was pretty average. Like an off brand Waffle House. Service was terrible, waitress doesn’t listen when you order, and when you tell her the order was wrong she gets an attitude and complains loudly to the cooks. We could hear them all complaining about us from our table, but they messed up our order? I had been in the industry for YEARS and never seen such horrible customer service. Pretty disappointed this place was such a let down as we’ve been looking for somewhere close for breakfast to have business meetings. Will not be back, absolutely appalled.
To the guy who buys bacon for their dog. Do not eat! I was holding it in my hand when they took it back after messing up my order and they said they are planning on selling it to you. I assume you expect fresh bacon when you buy it and not leftovers from a random guy who was palming it. By the way the food was sub par at best. The sausage was the frozen kind you buy and microwave. You can tell by the grayish brown color it has. Staff does not listen at all and have attitudes when they mess up your order. They literally took the bacon out of my hand as my wife was saying we will pay for it and then was upset she ate a piece before they took it even with us wanting to keep it and paying for it. Then the waitress smirked when she said they didn't charge us for it. good job, you didn't charge us for something we didn't order.
The atmosphere was friendly, with sound travelling from one end of the diner to the other. The hot turkey sandwich I had was awful and my wife’s chef’s salad was a small portion of lettuce and small pieces of processed meat cut up and was an $18 menu item. Positively, very friendly; we ordered a strawberry milkshake and it was amazing; and we shared a piece of home made coconut cream pie which was quite nice. All told, our dinner’s cost was $42. We would stop back into this restaurant for burgers and a shake. Oh, and probably a piece of pie!
Loved this place! Went out for a full day date with my wife and decided to stop here for breakfast. The building is reminiscent of the 60’s-80’s diners. Decor is nice and homey and the food tastes like home-made/aforementioned diner food. Both my wife and I loved it and can’t wait to re-visit. Service was excellent and the ambiance was that of a long-established family diner. Like walking into Cheers! Thank you!
Everything ordered has always been great. Very customizable ordering for those with dietary limitations.
The food and service was phenomenal. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and there were even lumps in the potatoes, so you know they were real not reconstituted potatoes.
