Cactus Rose Cafe - Mexican restaurant in Indian Trail - 633 Indian Trail Road South, USA

Well I have been here several times now and when Cyndi is there it is a pleasant experience. However when candy is there we are treated like second rate customers and are constantly ignored. The service is night and day to the point where I won't be back. I come there for the food and to support a local business. I didn't get a single refill the whole meal, and endless chips means 1 basket.

Being an out of towner we love coming here when visiting our family friends. This place is absolutely amazing. The owners are so sweet and accommodating. The food tastes very authentic and fresh. The prices are very reasonable. All I can say is if you're craving Mexican food you'll thank me when you pass by. The meat is so tasty, the fish tacos were delicious and the rice is absolutely AMAZING. Can't wait to come back for our next visit.

2nd visit..Saturday night ..again great food and great service Saturday lunch. Very tasty food and ample portions even from the lunch special section. Very friendly staff. Full bar but didn't have a bar drink this time. Will go back. Under $30.00 for 2 including tip.

We finally found good Mexican food near Charlotte! The food was delicious and employees were very nice. You need to try the Papas Con Chorizo. It was the best! We also ordered an enchilada, chile relleno, and a taco. Everything was great, including the refried beans that most meals come with. We'll be back for more.

The atmosphere was nice, music too. Chips and salsa, great chips warm salsa, mild tastes good but the hot salsa has that nice hanging heat. I ordered a shredded beef taco and a chicken burrito to try out. I like the chicken more then the beef but I prefer chicken. This is a place I would recommend to others.

If I could give these place no stars I would. This was the absolute worst Mexican food I have ever had. Their queso tasted like cream cheese. I cannot stress enough, this stuff was BAD. There is no authenticity here, this is not even TexMex. And we waited an extremely long time service wise, despite being the only guests and the restaurant for over half the meal.

Been here a couple times now, service is always spot on, food yummy, and price is fair. Excellent on all marks! Update for September 20th 2023, the food is absolutely still fantastic. The owners instituted a slight price increase, it is worth every penny and then some. I've never had a bad meal at Cactus Rose.

A pleasant surprise. 1st time there and we will be back. We went back. Continued accolades. Best chips and salsa around town. A little out of the way, but worth it.
