We went in March with some friends & we had the time of our life!! From the minute we pullled in the gate, the staff was courtesous and helpful. Our spot was exactly like they had described it would be. We had a great time checking out all the vendors, which there was a ton of them!! Cacklebery Campground provided great enertainment every day for us,....we enjoyed the slime wrestling, daisy duke contest, wet -tshirt contest stc.... there was also concerts by some really good artists!! We also went to Main Street which was not far, and that was really neat too!! Cacklebery seemed to be pretty close to alot of things we went to go see but mostly staying at the campground was the most fun!!
Great place to go for Bike Week and/or Biktoberfest, the big draw back is it's exactly the same every year, bands change but vendors are exactly the same with the exact same stuff.
A must see location. During bikeweek and biketoberfest, they have lots of camping sites, plenty parking, a LOT OF VENDORS, live music, FOOD, SHOWERS,..... EVERYTHING YOUD NEED FOR BIKE EVENTS WITHOUT LEAVING THE PROPERTY.
We had a great time at Cackleberry. Good food, good entertainment, lots of good vendors and lots of folks!
We had a blast at bike week. Made some awesome friends. There were some hot naked ladies life was good. We didn't stay there because we r locals but we have friends from out of town that do stay and they love it.
Nothing but 5 star from me! Great location, great music, great atmosphere, great vendors. I’d definitely recommend cacklebery!
I got time off to go to bike week at the last minute and couldn't find a campground. Someone was selling their space here on Craigslist, and I bought it. I'll probably never go anywhere else. It's like a small city with great food vendors, live bands from 12p to 1a, and not a ton of rules. If you're a biker you're going to love it, if you're a Karen pretending to be a biker you'll hate it. We were only supposed to stay for 7 days but it was so crowded that we couldn't get out with a 40ft class A towing a trailer, so they asked us if we wanted to just stay till Sunday, which we did. They don't have sewer hookups but there's a pumpout service that comes around for $40. We we're hard to get to and they kept missing us so I spoke with the manager and he had someone there almost immediately and didn't charge us. If you have a problem, they will do their best to fix it, which is all you can ask. We had a great time and much prefer a place like this than a campground that won't let you build a fire, or ride your loud bike in after a certain time. We'll be regulars going forward. We also got to see 2 national recording artists while we we're there (free of charge).
I really enjoyed myself at the campground during the annual Bike Week event. Lots of vendors with a variety of different types of food to eat. My favorite was the ice cream stand which had great milkshakes. I felt safe the entire time I was there and will definitely be returning in the future. The campsites were very spacious and the staff was very accommodating.
