I was treated like family at the C-way Resort in Clayton New York. I had a lean comfortable 2nd floor room with excellent TV service, and hot water as needed in the bathroom facilities. Very friendly Owners and staff took care of all my needs during my stay. Breakfast was not available on site, but less than 3 miles away there were several restaurants to choose from.
Our hotel room was clean and newly remodeled. The food at the hotel was fairly good. My steak had a lot of gristle and difficult to eat, therefore I wasted about a third of it. When we checked in, because we have a semi truck (takes up 2 spots), we were told to park clear at the other end of the property where there's an old run-down motel. Our semi truck is a very nice one, to say the least, and there was plenty of parking in front of our room. We spent 3 nights there and did a lot of walking back and forth between our room and where we had to park our truck. For $150 a night, we weren't treated well at all.
We were in Clayton for a wedding and saw all the positive reviews for the C-Way. It really was great, low price, super clean room, and Pat at the desk was terrific! Thank you so much and if we’re in the area again we will definitely go back.
Nice, quiet! No chairs to sit on outside your room on the deck. room was nice little outdated but worth the money which was great off season. |I would stay here again in the future.|Also you can see deer walking past.
The C-Way Resort is always our go to place when visiting Clayton. Pat, Ann and Ken are always friendly, helpful and there to make your stay an enjoyable one. The rooms are so clean and the beds very comfortable, there is plenty of hot water for a nice shower after a day of site seeing. They have a beautiful pool with plenty of tables & chairs and lounge chairs. There is a nice golf course and restaurant across the road which we recommend. We highly recommend staying at the C-Way when visiting the area.
Would not stay here again. Room had an unpleasant odor. Beds were not made each day. Motel was very noisy (stomping and yelling above us). The continental breakfast was packaged pasty bagels and packaged blueberry muffin tops. Driveway was a pain to find and difficult to turn out of.
C-Way Resort and Motel is newly renovated and very convenient. The room was spacious and the patio overlooking the great backyard was delightful. Everything was clean as a whistle. Kids would love the backyard! This would be a perfect golf tournament getaway for a group.
This is our 4th summer staying at the C-Way when visiting Clayton and have never been disappointed. The rooms are large, very clean and comfortable, they have a coffee pot with coffee and the fixings and a dorm size refrigerator in each room…on weekends they offer a continental breakfast. They have a beautiful pool with several table and chairs and lounge chairs…they even have beach towels (ask for them at the front desk). This past weekend we had several family members so booked the 1 BR to have a meeting place for all to visit which was stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and everything you needed to cook. The apartment was very large and there was plenty of room for us to have everyone for breakfast and visit. Pat, Ann and Ken go above and beyond to make sure that everyone enjoys their stay at the C-Way. If you are looking for a clean, friendly place to stay while visiting the 1000 Islands (Clayton center is a 5 min drive) then look no further.
What a hidden gem! This lovely little motel and cottage property has everything you need to enjoy your stay in the Thousand Islands Region of NY! The rooms are clean, and the beds were comfortable. There is a centrally located coffee room that's ava
We love it here. The view is spectacular! The cottages are vintage and very clean upon arrival. The owner, Alan is super friendly and accommodating. Great place to relax and fish or explore the area.
If you like classic wooden yachts and want to learn the history and development of outboard motors, then this is a must-see location. They have five or six buildings with canoes to record holding speed boats for their day. If you're in the St Lawrenc
Very clean , neat, well maintained, groomed, scenic campground. There was a wedding on property when we were there. Nice location. Enjoyed our stay, although we were next to inconsiderate people that kept their white lights on all night , illuminat
Iâm not a huge wine drinker because itâs hard to find kinds I like. I love the flight option where you can decide what wines you want to try. The outdoor seating is small but itâs so cozy and the view is amazing
This is our prefered dining spot. Easily some of the best, if not THE best food in Clayton! The staff is great, (Shout out to Shannon and Tricia),the establishment is clean, & the food is well seasoned, hot & fresh. The dessert are home made and dece
Due to the hot weather (needing a/c for our dog) we had to cancel our reservation at a nearby state park. Merry Knoll was centrally located for our needs and a great alternative! The staff were very attentive and the seasonal residents were among the
Super cool place and the dinner was excellent. A 23 minute drive north of Watertown, worth every minute of the drive. I had the half order of Chicken Parmigian, it came with fresh warm bread a salad and spaghetti. The Chicken Parm was very tasty! Had
A beautiful day for a car ride and we ended up in Clayton and stopped at this restaurant. Outside seating was full but we were able to view the river while we had lunch. We both had the lobster roll sandwich, it was very good, and then followed it by
Getting toward the end of the season. Deck was closed, but the food was still good. Veggie burger was good and fresh made. Sausage Sandwich was cooked perfectly. Not too busy on a Sunday night. Server, Lori, was very helpful.
