The museum is really cool! They host a children’s shopping event every year at Christmas time with all sorts of activities for kids ages 3-13 (I believe). Then after the kids shop they get to ride on the Carousel. This Carousel is special to us, and our family loves it! Small kids may benefit from an adult joining them because it goes fast!
Do have a super clean bathroom with changing table! The museum is so fun and even my two year old thought it was amazing to see all the beautiful horses. It is a blue star program so during the summer the museum was free for our family. But we will be back even past that to ride that beautiful carousel again! It is a great place for rainy weather or if it is to hot! The price to ride is cheap because it is a long ride and way faster then normal carousels so watch out 🤣. You can even get 20 rides for $20 and if you don’t use them all you can bring it back next time. My husband and I loved the history and beauty and the kids loved the fun!!!
Such a fun place full of quaint history. Comprised of all volunteers, they all enjoyed being there and are knowledgeable! The carousel was a blast to ride, again with onlooking, smiling, volunteers.
Came today had the room reserved for a 3 year old birthday. The kids enjoyed riding the carousel. Very affordable $75 a hr that includes 16 tickets per hr. Good size room with the window view of the carousel. I love that you get 30 minutes before and after your reserved time. Used for setting up and cleaning up. Most places charge you for the set up and clean up time. Will use this venue again. P.S the carousel is fun goes fast even adults can ride.
This was a spontaneous stop for my wife and I so we had no idea what to expect. We were very impressed because we had no idea about this really neat bit of history! I highly suggest stopping here with or without kids!
Fantastic experience! The heart and soul that is poured into the restoration and preservation of the carousels and the horses is so evident. Jerry was a wonderful guide and the ride at the end of the tour was just the cherry on top!
A small museum, the tour is now (as a result of the pandemic) a self guided affair with QR codes to tell you more about the carousel animals and a tour sheet that suggests a best route to enjoy the museum. A tour includes a ride on one of the two working carousels. The tickets to ride a very reasonable so if the kids want to go again, let them! The main carousel also has some unique features like a lover's barrel and the horses are more spring-like in their motion. In addition to the two intact Parker Carousels, they have one of the oldest known intact carousels in the United States (not rideable due to is being nearly 200 years old).
Great place and even better staff. Amazing events to get the community engaged and out of the house. Entertainment for all ages and staff is always very engaging.

"I have to say, I recently discovered this amazing place with some of the best sushi and sake I've ever tasted! Not only is the food delicious, but the ambiance is just perfect for a night out. Highly recommend checking it out!"
this is a small place and easy to miss. the service was amiable and the food was excellent. the portions were just right. 3 of us ordered the jerk chicken. it is a touch on the spicy side but unlike some spice that just burns this was full of flavor.
Was my first time coming here today. Great experience. I'm not going to lie. I was a little iffy because of how small it was but it is literally perfect. Great drinks. Definitely compare it to Starbucks because today I got two large coffees with an e
