beautiful "overlook" home that rests on a piece of land that has views of Rock Island and Moline. The exterior and the landscape were the highlights of this property for my visit. The landscape is designed like you are entering the greens of a well taken care of golf course. Throughout my tour of the interior of the home, I found myself peering out of the plethora of windows to see what beautiful scenery lay outdoors to finish up the elegance of this home.
We were lucky enough to be able to see this amazing place on a December night with a choir singing for an event. The library can fit two houses with beautiful paintings and figurines all over. It was such a beautiful night. :)
The evening and weekend programs are always wonderful and wonderfully informative and/or entertaining. I’ve always enjoyed the lovely music and guest speakers! Also the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. 😊
Beautiful historical site, previously owned by four generations of John Deere, the agriculture industrialist. Operating as an arts and culture community center for nonprofit organizations, events and programs are held for the general public as are historic house tours. It's a must-see in the Quad Cities!

What a lovely tour. The ladies who led the tours were very kind and knowledgeable persons who clearly care about what they do. It was a great way to learn about some of the history of the people who put the Quad Cities on the map.

Delicious food, everyone was friendly. Sandwich roll and Angry Dagon roll were awesome. We both enjoyed out entrees- I got the tofu teriyaki and the tofu was perfectly crisp. My dude got the hibachi shrimp and raved about the fried rice. Def be back
I can't recommend the honey lavender latte enough. The breakfast bowl is a huge portion, I could have easily shared mine. My husband got coffee black and a breakfast sandwich. The espresso- delicious. And the view of course is beautiful
