This restaurant was great for brunch! Bring your appetite and your love of biscuits. The biscuits are huge yet light and fluffy with lots of layers and also texture. Yes, they are that good! The pepper jelly and blueberry jam were amazing too. We had the pickled fried green tomatoes, pimento grits, hash-browns, cinnamon roll and French toast. All were delicious and fresh. The service was friendly and warm. I would recommend making reservations.
Have visited Buttermilk Kitchen several times and it never disappoints. This visit was a Saturday around 12:30pm and there was about an hour and twenty minute wait which was accurate. We put our name on the list and decided to take a quick trip to target and made it back in time for our name call. They now take reservation which is highly suggest if you know you want to eat here. I had the chicken and waffles which were delicious. Appetizer was an order of biscuits which were huge and I was only able to finish 1. I also had a green tea latte with vanilla which was equally delicious. Their food never disappoints. Service was good for being busy, can’t complain about it. They do have a restroom for customers and a lot of lots to park at during the weekend. These lots are clearly labeled for which days you can park in.
My recent brunch at Buttermilk Kitchen in Atlanta, GA was a wonderful experience. Our server was informative, friendly, and ensured we had an excellent time. The drink selections were superb, adding to the overall gratifying experience. Their appetizers, comprising fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, and biscuits, showcased vibrant flavors that promised a promising start. The main courses were equally impressive. The lobster omelet and the chicken and pancakes stood out. However, the standout dish for me was the French toast with a la carte chicken and eggs, accentuated with an upgrade to bourbon maple syrup. The robust bourbon flavor complemented the meal perfectly. I'd recommend Buttermilk Kitchen for a luscious brunch experience!
We went on a Friday morning (the day I am writing this review.) The wait was kinda long, so would highly recommend you book a reservation in advance on Open Table, but it was worth the wait. Staff was super friendly and service oriented. The food was delicious. The bacon, cheese grits, and hash browns were excellent. The biscuit seems to have less salt than most, which seems healthier and it too was pretty good. Hope this helps!
What an incredible experience we had here. From the time we arrived we knew we found a great place. The service from Tyler was next level, telling us about the different dishes and the specials. Amazing chicken on or with anything you want, the pimento grits are off the hook, the biscuit reminds me of my grandma’s home made, and the waffle was the best we had. Our nephew said best chicken sandwich ever. If you are looking for real deal homemade every thing this is your spot. ✌️😎
We arrived at the restaurant and the parking lot was fairly full but we were able to locate an empty space up front. On Sundays there are several lots open for overflow parking. The host at the door was such a friendly and kind gentleman! He set our expectations that it would be 60-90 minutes and that we have 5 minutes to arrive after they text our phone. He also said it could be earlier so be ready. We waited about 45 minutes and sat at a shared table in the bar. The food was very good. The biscuit was heavenly and the hash browns were the most flavorful I've ever tasted. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars: Our server was nice but it started off weird as she looked at my daughter and asked around to find out who sat her there... it made us feel that she thought my daughter sat herself the way she was asking around "WHO sat them there". But once she realized we were officially supposed to be there she was nice and friendly. The food came out quickly and the presentation was nice. The mimosa was delicious also.
So we arrived on a week day and it was like an hour wait. The host was very friendly and helpful when putting us on the waiting list i didnt get her name but it was a lovely blonde woman with glasses... We waited in the car. Very small parking lot. We had to wait for someone to leave to get a spot but that's expected. We barely waited the whole hour before receiving the text. We got sat and waited for our server. It took a little minute before our server arrived. She did her spill in a rush because they were busy. We ordered waters, cocktails, the app and our drinks pretty much came with our meals. The app came fast because it required no cooking. I enjoyed it but my partner only like the pickled items. I honestly don't eat brunch often so I picked the chicken sandwich and my girl got the grit bowl thingy. She like it. My sandwich was cool. I tried adding cheese which they only have shredded and put on the side. I understood because they were busy but me also being a server I couldn't fathom sending it out without being melted on the sandwich. I just give my guest what I would want so yeah.. it was coo. I would recommend if you've havnt been there before but I wouldn't go out my way to go. Not bad at all .
The food was great. My table had the grits bowl, fries chicken with pancakes and french toast, and the lobster omelet (seasonal dish). The spinach, biscuits and pimento grits were good, too. Appetizers were the pickled fried tomatoes and biscuit basket. I'd recommend reservations.

This was a great little restaurant. I heard it had a lot of history surrounding it, and I can see why. It was very vintage, and had amazing food. Our waitress was very speedy and we got our food fast. I had the meatloaf with gravy, beans, and cabbag
