The taste and freshness of the food was amazing! The employees hustle to get the food prepared and to you in a super busy environment. The service was awesome! The price is pretty in tune with other really good restaurants serving the same kind of food, and we’ll worth it! Will definitely make this a go to spot when visiting Clovis.

Awesome as always! Fresh food - great service - good prices! To the people that are reading this and thinking, "ew, a fish place...", well, you're wrong. The closest thing that I get to fish is the shrimp. And that of course is with my chicken and roast beef. The teppanyaki sauce and ginger soy drizzle are my go to. As well as the crispy onion, garlic and tempura crunchies on top. I was one of those people that thought I would never like this place. So glad I tried it several years ago and been coming back ever since. 😋👍

The place is good, there isn’t a whole lot to say that is bad, only if you don’t like indie music, they play that all the time there. Not bad though I’m not complaining, but if you don’t like indie music just take it To go or just sit outside! It’s a pretty good outdoor seating area too! Anyways, the food tasted fresh and they make it right there in front of you. The people are very friendly and are more than happy to help you out! The only problem I can say is that I asked for wontons on my shrimp tempura bowl and they forgot to add them, I didn’t mind the mistake so I didn’t ask for them, but that didn’t ruin my experience

I went to a birthday gathering. The food was fresh, but there were only a couple of items that were cooked. I don't eat poke or sushi, so this wasn't my type of food. There isn't much in the way of service since you stand in line to order and they call you to pick up food. The chairs weren't very substantial and the room echoed whenever anyone was talking. With that said, it's my granddaughter's favorite place to eat.

I think I might give up on this place. The food is pretty good, but staff aren’t well trained and it’s very slow. My last order from the app wasn’t ready after 35 minutes. I finally got it after 45 minutes and then they told me two of the ingredients weren’t available. What? So I waited all of that time, in the cold btw, and then I didn’t even get what I ordered. Pathetic.

It’s usually fine when I’m there actually making sure the food is made how I want, but they have not once made my doordash order correctly. They always forget the wasabi, either add zero sauces or add way too much, or they skimp on everything and give me a bowl that’s only half full. I’m not sure if this is an issue with how doordash sends the orders—especially since I’ve ordered through the app and the same things happen (they’ve forgotten entire bowls and scheduled orders). It happens just about every time for delivery or pickup, so something is definitely wrong with their system.

This is my good day place to go. I love eating my poke bowl! The variety of foods to add in the bowl is awesome! The staff are so nice, and helpful! Highly appreciated and recommended!!

Its safe to say Butterfish is close to top tier poke, I've been to different poke locations but they really aren't all that and quite expensive. The size portion is worth the price, getting a regular with shrimp and seared ahi (which isn't extra charge like other spots) with a few toppings and I'm not hungry for half the day. Refreshing, filling, affordable. Only reason I didn't give a 5⭐ is the lack of customer service, the staff is nice but I never get lite sauce even tho I ask every time. 9/10
