Went there for a company celebration. Private room with a family style pre selected menu. We had apps coming before our drinks. Food was amazing and the best meat coma ever!! Oh yeah, old school toilet with elevated tank and pull chain. Classic!!

We have a pretty big crush on Butcher & The Boar as we’ve now been to 3 of their locations including Charleston, SC! The full menu at their current place in Mpls looks amazing, and their new brunch menu did not disappoint. Great Bloody’s too!

I went here in March, and my experience wasn't all that. I didn't even write a review as I was too short of words. However, a work end of the year celebration brought me here again. I was pleasantly surprised at the interior and the changes that have been made at first. Our host was great and did an excellent service, answering our questions patiently and very, very awesome. Then the food, OMG, the best thing I ate. From the steak tartare to the oysters, the sourdough bread and the cheese dip for appetizers were all amazing. Then the main dish 😍😍 I had the 20oz ribeye and loved it. Cooked to perfection. So were the accompanying sides of carrots, chives mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, and the beef Mac and cheese. All in all, I am so happy that I didn't turn down the invite when I heard the name of the restaurant and I came with an open mind.

This is my favorite restaurant in the twin cities! All the menu items I’ve tried have been phenomenal. My favorites include the beef long bone, which is seared with a delicious, mildly hot glaze. The buffalo Brussels sprouts are a must. The mac and cheese is also a go-to. The menu items are shareable, usually enough for two to three people. Their location changed a while back, but the new location is just as nice as the old. The new location is also more convenient for parking. Perfect place for a special occasion!

This restaurant was amazing, we had the date night and the servers were outstanding as well as the food. We were told about the CHAR BAR which we didn't know about, but we went after dinner and our bar tender Shelby was so nice and the vibe was perfect! Would highly recommend the speakeasy (char bar) after an already great night at Butcher.

We were somewhere downtown deep in the cess of the mid Sunday afternoon kerfuffle when my friend suddenly realizes he has a date and asks for suggestions on where to go. Numerous people blurt out the obvious suggestions but I point out the obvious best joint is still a hidden gem with perfect ambiance and privacy. Somehow I’m roped into being the fifth wheel and realize a venue change seems optimal. The table was spacious and the appetizers were delectable but the mood was well maintained with exquisitely procured drinks from Lo.

Amazing Food, Easily the best experience for any foodie or date night. Every aspect of this place is intentional and feels so comfortable. Huge selection of premium wine and spirits from many countries/state. The food is worth its price, definitely try this place.

We had a fabulous brunch. The crab toast was delicious, and husband loved his shrimp and grits. We only visit Minneapolis about once a year, but we will absolutely be back here.

Reminiscent of a diner. Great lunch spot for a family gathering. Service was great and the food was too. The portions are huge and could easily be split between two people.
