One of my most favorite parks when it comes to inner City Salem. Be forewarned though, if it's been a particularly rainy day or two parts of the paved path can collect water... So you may need to bring some kind of raft or rowboat

There are open spaces and tree-lined walks a track to walk dogs on. Bunny rabbits galore and even an eagle's nest with rumors of their being more.

Close to downtown. It has a playground. You can walk and run. I grew up having birthdays and other events here. Beautiful park all year round.

Love the park for different areas it has like; playgrounds, ball park, creek that runs through it, big open spaces for volleyball, soccer or family gatherings. Great area for walking dogs, several restrooms and even has a Bush Art Gallery, Bush House museum, and the Willamette Universary Field.

A lovely dose of nature within the city. Shady walking trails wander down to the creek and through the treed pasture area nestled between the stadium and playground areas. Dog friendly; please pick up after your doggoe.

Lots of different types of paths, wide in areas and not in others… small and large gravel, dirt and paved trails. Creek has clear water and ducks. The trees are full of squirrels to tease and torture the dogs. Lots of shaded areas. Quiet neighborhood surrounding the park. There are many benches to rest upon and a sufficient amount of trash cans and extra poop bags. There are fields of cut grass and tall, wild grass with smatterings of flowers. The trees there are huge and many are quite beautiful. Truly love this park for walking my fur babies. Plus, lots of parking!

I love this park. It has flat trails and hilly trails. It has paved trails and bark-mulch-covered trails. It has forest area and open field area. It has a rhododendron garden and a rose garden. It has a historic house and it has an art gallery. It has a semi-resident attack-owl, and a public restroom with permanently open doors. In late summertime it has a HUGE art fair. I walk here at least once a week. I LOVE this park!

Great park in Salem for walking, running, biking etc. There is a playground in the upper level and a playground in the lower level. There are multiple trails, the longest one is around 1.5 miles. Two bathrooms are available. Usually parking isn’t hard to find. There are picnic tables around the park. This park is close to downtown Salem.
