Great park with plenty of room to walk and roam . Looks like they've completed the holiday ice rink too ☺️ Now open daily 11-7 Free admission and free skate usage !! Must have Q R code reader on the phone for an admission waiver. Edit: Ice rink now closed because Winter fest is over 😔 Park is still a great place to walk though!
Nice clean park. Wasn't busy which is a plus. Love the water fountain. Very relaxing here.
Beautiful and big. Great for running, kid-friendly, well maintained. There’s a kid’s park as well. Occasionally, there are various events happening here as well.
Great park! Beautiful discovered something new today, even though I’ve been here many times. 5 stars for beautiful.
DISGUSTING! RAT infested. Used condoms, razor blades, trash, rotting food. All next to the child's play area and carousel. Homeless are slowly setting up camp. Graffiti on walls. Absolute disgrace.
Visiting town and staying just a few blocks off the park. I spent a while walking around the park and really enjoyed the views. The park is beautiful and has lots of history tied up in it. There are plenty of statues and signs that designate and describe what each piece is for. Just a couple downsides being that the park does seem a little on the neglected side. The trash bins aren’t completely full, but people seem to not be able to walk an extra 4 feet to throw their stuff away. There were a few homeless people who have set up a day time residency within the park, and have garbage the strewn around. Only a couple had asked for money, but weren’t overly bothersome. Unfortunately when I hike in large cities I don’t carry anything on me, otherwise I offer food & water over cash. The grass on the east side of the park had appeared to have been cut at all this year and really detracts from the beauty of the park. Otherwise, it was a beautiful day out and it was nice to hike around and see beautiful artwork and learn more on the history of the park and the city.
In hartford city, this park can be your companion for sure. many small architectures, one carousel and one lily pond, different varieties of trees are also there. Skating areangement is also there during winter for some time specially during Christmas and New Year. Otherwise greenery, huge playground is also enjoyable. You can get many public buses reaching different destination departing from there. A bio toilet was also there near the park. Have a visit if you are in Hartford..
It was such a nice place to go for a walk, relax, or even go for a jog. If you follow them on social media, you can always check out events they have over the summer. Something about when people get together in hartford is such a vibe.
Love the carousel. Love the architecture of the towers and the beautiful capitol building. The playground is also very pretty and modeled after the capitol building. Good time for the kiddos.
We parked under the Founders bridge/street park (free) and walked up the stairs to the bridge. It was a relaxing stroll with beautiful view of the river from the bridge and its surrounding from the bridge. Thereâs an elevator to go down to the pave
I and my wife got tired of chain restaurants, unhealthy fast food places. Lack of authenticity, quality and hospitality kept us home most of the timeâ¦.Until we found this extraordinary restaurant offers traditional Turkish and Uzbek varieties of de

We placed a decent sized order today and food was ready on time and we were greeted by Jerry and his staff right away. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We look forward to ordering from here again very soon!
Your experience here can go from basic to exquisite. Off season and I was still very impressed. We did not get to experience eveything in full bloom So peaceful and calm. There is literally something for everyone. There are an abundance of photogra
Saw the play Trouble in Mind. The play was fantastic. The theater was very clean, and the ushers polite and helpful. The lobby and concessions were very well organized. The parking was only $7. Amazing night.
We are new to CT from Texas and have desperately been looking for a good Mexican eatery. We will happily come back here again! The portions and presentations are great. The quesadillas are packed!! Still looking for that deep pastor flavor we find in
I have yet to try something I didn't like. I particularly love their lavender latte and banana bread, but all their baked goods are delicious and I love the combo of bakery and flower shop, it helps create a wonderful environment to sit and enjoy. Th
Just came back from my first photoshoot/commercial and I walked in absolutely terrified, only to walk out comfortable, even confident. Everyone was both professional yet extremely welcoming. What a phenomenal experience!!
