Burrstone Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection - Hotel in New Hartford - 1777 Burrstone Rd, USA

Our first room had some issues but the front desk corrected the issue. Hotel staff was very nice. Hotel is a little dated but that's pretty typical anymore unless it's new. It was a very very quiet place which we enjoyed. The bar/restaurant was decent. It's pretty much typical bar food but we enjoyed it. Breakfast was okay. It wasn't the best we've had but we ate plenty and it filled us up.

Room was fine, had a little bit of a smell. TV was fine. Breakfast was good! Staff was amazing at the hotel and the restaurant attached. The breakfast attendant was the nicest person there but everyone was very nice. Had to stay here for a funeral and all of the other hotels very much more expensive, we spent around $140 a night to stay here. It's not a destination so I was not expecting a destination hotel level stay. Definition of a good hotel to stay at while just passing through.

I love this hotel. The rooms are worth the money you will spend. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel no need to travel for food. The area its located in is the perfect spot it allows you to have privacy when outside the hotel.

A fully fine hotel, nothing special. Our room was a bit smelly and not super comfortable. The staff were all VERY nice! Breakfast is fine. Quiet location.

Positive: The staff is just outstanding. They were very helpful and super nice. I really had a good experience with everyone I encountered. The lobby was very welcoming as well Negative: The room was good however, the bathrooms need an upgrade. The carpet looked like it was time. The room entry door strike plate was missing & the latch was only being latched by the steel door frame. That was concerning. It was still a decent room though Negative: ""

Nice clean rooms, central to all of Utica. Staff is amazing. Restaurant is far above any hotel restaurant I have seen. Food is great with great options, not just your average fried foods. Overall one of my favorite hotels across the country.

Great value and clean. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is your standard free breakfast fare. Nice neighborhood. Resturant food is average but reasonably priced. Nice seafood restaurant 1/2 mile down the street. Would stay here again

Cancellation policy is 48 hours, and we called to cancel several days before that, but despite trying several times and waiting minutes each time for them to pick up, the front desk never did pick up the phone, and there was no voicemail service to leave a message. Then we got charged the full price and the hotel refused to refund. That's what I call a scam.
