These were some of the best chicken tacos 🌮 I've ever had!!!
Been there a few times coming from Burlington. Never had a bad experience or item. The burritos are awesome. It doesn't matter if they are regular or "wet." I will have to try your hard shell Tacos. Are those (the fried shells) hand made as well? I brought my dad to have lunch this last Friday (12/10) for his first experience. The whole way home all he did was rave about his burrito and said he should have gotten one for his wife. The young lady that served us (around noonish) was delightful. When I added the "super-hot sauce" she joked that I must like to live dangerously.
The Burrito Factory in Muscatine exceeded my expectations! The food and prices were great, but what blew me away was the service! They care about their customers here and it's so obvious. They remember details about their customers and have so much love. This was my first time here but I will be back!
Mom and pop atmosphere, fresh ingredients, loved that they had black beans and many options on what was on burrito.
Work there for a few months, and have a real bad experience with Maxine. (The owner) Too much work and very poor paid. And not receiving my tips from credit cards, but life goes on. Now I have a real job and I’m very happy making way better money.
A hidden gem! A healthy meal in a wrap! They make the tortilla in front of you. They place a ball of dough on a huge flattened and then place it on the grill to cook. Then you get the choice of rice, black or pinto beans, 5 kinds of meat, then the toppings like tomatoes, onions, lettuce, guacamole, queso, shredded cheese, corn, cilantro, pico, jalapeños, sour cream, and salsas. All fresh laid out in front of you so you can watch them make it. Then individually wrapped in aluminum foil so you can eat it there or take it with you. So yummy! They'll also make them wet, and have tacos, smothered nachos, chips and salsa, and much more! Sodas and beer and desserts! It's a small place but the owner has great personality and I love going there.
A little overpriced in my opinion. I also have my card charged more than I expected to pay (I also don't pay attention to what I sign in the receipt). I am also comparing it to Chipotle but if you are willing to pay extra for a local business, this is worth it. Food is ok.
I stay away from the beans. They don't agree with me. Burritos are good.
10/10 breakfast every single time! I've tried a lot off the menu, but man, that Philly Cheesesteak Skillet (pictured) is my favorite! Locally owned by Boni & Marcella and their fantastic team. You've got to get a homemade soup as well-the best! Stop
This is a wonderfully preserved old mill that still has many of it's original tools and features on display. We've been to several old mills, but none with as much of the mill processing tools still intact. Additionally there was an engagement area
Delicious and friendly! Excellent sandwiches, muffin and cappuccino to-go! You can tell each ingredient is thoughtfully incorporated into its dish. Down to the wheat berry bread they use for their sandwiches, yum!
