The quality of the food has gone from outstanding to just ok. Portions have gotten substantially smaller. Service is friendly, but always seems disorganized. They now keep the salsa behind the counter. No more salsa bar.
*Update* Establishment is now under new management. Food has improved and salsa bar is back.
They have yummy food here. I had a shrimp burrito that was really good and a couple of tacos that were also good. The so called home made tortillas were kind of a let down though, not strong enough to hold your food in it. Overall, good experience though and friendly staff.
If I could give zero for service I would. They NEED TO WRITE THE ORDERS DOWN!!!!! Everytime I order they mess it up. I hate needing to babysit them while my order is being made. Then I say something, because they are giving me the wrong thing and she says "well I can't remember everything. Service is negative 10. They charge way to much money to be so terrible!
The food is wonderful! Try the el rey burrito if you can eat that much! The fruit, smoothies and horchata are great too! The salsa bar is small but fresh. Great staff.
This place has amazing value!! You can get the giant El Rey burrito for only $14 that is enough to fill 3 people up! Splitting this big burrito makes it so cheap and worth the price! I'd say their meats and flavors are mediocre but the price and amount of food you get makes this place a worth it location to try. Not to mention if you dine in, you get to add as much sauces as you want and make your own wet burrito.
I do not recommend this place the food is not fresh. I ordered a chile relleño and got a cold chile. The cheese wasn't even melted so they not only give you food from another day, but they can't even be bothered to warm it up for you. It didn't have a good flavor either the only thing that tasted good was the beans the chile and rice was not good at all.
Very delicious! Salsa is on point as well. We ordered a chile verde burrito and an asada burrito and added a chile relleno for an addt'l $3
I went this last Sunday with a friend to eat the worst menudo ever, old dark menudo mixed with the new one! If you are an expert on how the pancita looks like when is fresh, you must know how it is when it’s old and here is an example, the clear ones are new, the others maybe frozen from last year. Never Come back again

Just went back for the first time after being closed since Covid. Lovely family service as usual and amazing burritos. They don't have a full menu yet, but you can get your fix again of chorizo egg and potato burritos. So excited to support this nei
EAT HERE! This place was highly recommended by a colleague, and the food was amazing. I ordered two Sopes, one pastor, one pollo. The horchata was one of the best I have ever had. I need to get back and try some of the other items! Fresh ingredi
At first glance the prices are a wee bit expensive ($4 a taco for fish or shrimp), but you get unlimited tortilla chips and salsa which are both made FRESH. Best seafood tacos in SoCal, I dare say. Personally I like the shrimp tacos more than the fis

The quality of the food was beyond reproach. Taste and presentation of food couldn't have been better. Food temperature was HOT and freshly made. Will definitely return. Kudos to the chef..Jukebox with authentic Mexican music was a great touch.
Good food. Nice place. Was recommended by the mortuary we went to that day to pick up my moms ashes altho we had seen it on the drive in. I love shrimp & we had different varieties. Was very good.
Came for freshly made vegetable juice and loved the drink. I ordered a vampire juice containing beet, carrot, celery, cucumber and a bit of orange juice. Flavorful, fresh tasting and healthy. The place is clean. Customer service was very friendly and
