Burrito Express - Mexican restaurant in Roswell - 209 E College Blvd, USA

My husband ordered an egg, potato, hamburger meat and green chili burrito. I got an egg, potato, chorizo and red chili burrito. He started feeling sick after eating and I did not. That was yesterday morning (Friday) it is now Saturday night and he's still sick. There were only two things different on his burrito... the hamburger meat and the green chili. Either the hamburger meat was bad or undercooked or there was something wrong with that green chili. We like to get the breakfast burritos because they are delicious and we've never had any issues. I'm not sure what happened this time but he more than likely got food poisoning from the burrito since we didn't eat anything else yesterday morning. All I know is that we won't be eating there again anytime soon. Edit: I figured the owner would say that. I know illnesses are going around but my husband hadn't been at work for days because he was off and neither my son or myself had been sick. What are the odds he'd get sick right after eating from your restaurant? I'm surprised I wasn't told "well we didn't get any other complaints" like another reviewer was told when she said she felt sick after eating your food... very unprofessional. He mentioned that his food tasted a little off and I actually joked with him that the workers did something to his food because he didn't tip. I was joking of course but now I'm starting to believe it.

Food was great! We had two breakfast burritos and the tortillas and ingredients tasted fresh and not greasy at all. We also loved that the restaurant was impeccably clean.

Definitely worth the little jog off the beaten path. I have eaten at Burrito Express before, and it was good, but not being in Roswell a lot makes it hard to go to. HOWEVER I was in Roswell for the weekend and wanted to go back a few times a day. We had big breakfast burritos. The tortillas are delicious! They remind me of the home made ones I had growing up. The steak big breakfast burrito was tasty. I had both the red sauce and green sauce on separate burritos, both delightful flavors of their own. I'm not a usual fan of red chile, but it was delicious in the burrito. They were of good size to make me feel satisfied and content at the end.

I decided to stop and have lunch, I ordered the Relleno plate. I was not disappointed!! I was so happily surprised when I opened the box. And there was lushness in there. It was the Best chili Relleno I have ever had. And can’t wait to come back to Roswell and have another plate.

Got a supreme burrito with beef and extra cheese. Good quality and fast service. Chile was a little bland, but all in all, a decent burrito.

Clean, well kept inside and out, friendly staff, and decent prices. We ate a late lunch there (around 1:00 pm). Despite numerous call in orders, we didn't have to wait very long to get our food. I had the deluxe smothered chicken burrito, and my partner had the full size nacho supreme. After eating our meals, we both felt stuffed for the rest of the day - our meals were that filling. The only downside was that we both thought our meals tasted a little bland, which might just be our taste buds.

This place has the best New Mexican food I’ve tasted so far. The worker who took my order, Priscilla, was very kind to explain the menu for me. She recommended a steak combo green and oh my- Burrito Express including Priscilla deserves 5 stars for sure!!

I have tried a lot of different items on the menu. I have to say that everything has been very good! Fast service, friendly atmosphere.
