Use drive through so can't comment much about inside. Even with long queue, line moved quickly. Food was great on what we ordered ( chorizo and steak option for breakfast burrito). Very generous with green salsa on side when asked. Will most definitely go back and try different selection on menu even with pricing on a slightly higher side ($8 chorizo burrito and $8.50 for steak burrito)

Best Baja style Mexican food I’ve found here in Colorado since leaving Southern California 28 years ago. Consistently delicious!

We were on our way down out of the mountains and wanted a good breakfast burrito at a reasonable price (instead of how pricey those mountain towns can be!) We opted to try this place due to the excellent Google reviews, as many other options seemed to be expensive sit-down restaurants or closed because it was Sunday. The employees greeted us when we walked in, and got our order started while also managing the heavy drive-through traffic. The service was excellent! It didn't take very long to get our food, either, which we appreciated because we were both very hungry! We both ordered the Machaca & Eggs Breakfast Burrito to-go, and it was delicious!! "Packed to the brim" as other reviews have stated, great flavor, fresh ingredients, and still hot when we got home to eat. The burritos were fairly large, definitely enough to fill us both up for lunch. All at a very reasonable price too! We will definitely be coming back here to try the rest of the menu and will be recommending it to our friends!

I love ❣️ this place! They have the best burritos 😋 their prices are great for the food you get. I don't come here a lot, but when I do, I always get the same thing: egg, chorizo and potatoes 😄 yum 😋 I munch on it for several days 👍 nice size burritos 👍 stuffed to the brim!!!

Amazing breakfast burrito. I got the bacon, egg, potato and cheese burrito. The red and green salsa that come with it were both good, but I preferred the red one. It’s pretty spicy which I like, but some may not. The burrito was a little smaller than I would have liked, but decent price at 8 bucks. I like this breakfast burrito because it has more potatoes than eggs. Most of the breakfast burritos I’ve tried around here are mostly eggs which I’m not as much of a fan of.

There is nothing express about this Burrito Express. The line always takes forever, even in a small line. Surprisingly you get better service with the teenagers then the older guy that usually works there. The quality of the food is going down and the prices are sky rocketing. My last burrito was legitimately cold. Won't be going back unless I hear about a turn around

I almost never write reviews unless I had a very bad experience somewhere. Burrito Express is the exception. I've been coming here for 8 years, and I can confidently say it is my favorite restaurant in the whole front range. It's been under the same ownership since I moved here, and the owner is the best. At one point, I moved further away, and even after not going for about a year, he still remembered what hot sauce I like with my burrito. I try to eat mostly vegetarian, and I absolutely love the chilli relleno burrito and the potato egg and cheese breakfast burrito. The chips and salsa are delicious, pickled carrots are great, but the tortillas stand out as the best I've ever had, along with the habanero hot sauce. The convenience of the drive through and the late night hours keep me coming back at least weekly. I absolutely love Burrito Express. I moved further away recently, but I will happily drive 40 minutes to eat here when I can. This is probably the only drive through where I actually want to tip. There has been a few times where my order was incorrect or missing something, but they'll happily fix it. The food is a little different depending on the time of day and who is working, so make sure to go at least twice. I think the burritos are always best in the evening. A Lakewood staple.
