First-time here alert!!📢⚠️
-The bridge is clean and nice, and I was able to see the whole area and see some of the other bridges, parks, etc.
-Note that after you cross the bridge, there is some homeless around, which might not be as pleasant.
-I would probably only take this bridge to sightsee rather than finish the whole bridge and end up toward Old Town District.
I like this bridge because from here you can see the old town mill sign above one of the buildings on the west end, as well as the welcome to Portland light sign (white stag). However, be aware this area is sketchy and not very safe. It is full of tents, homeless people, dirty and smelly. I do not recommend going down the stairs on either side, unless it is a farmer's market day, when more people are around. Otherwise, there are good views from the river and the other bridges around.
Built in 1926, the centrally located Burnside Bridge has the same architect as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco!
So it is stylish and functional!
There are great views as you travel across it, including views of the Steel Bridge and of the Made in Oregon sign with the deer in it.
Under it sits the Saturday Portland Market and nearby is Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
And it’s really fun to drive over!
"Pieceful place to view the Willamette River from. Personally love watching trains cross the Steele Bridge !!!
Iconic Portland bridge which establishes the division between North and South Portland. A nice view downriver includes the Steel, Broadway and Fremont bridges, while looking upriver reveals the Morrison, Hawthorne and Marquam Bridges. Lovely to walk on in the early morning.
So it's not the best breed to pick the walkover for the scenery because it's windy as heck like being on the top of the Empire State Building but it's beautiful scraper night walk did you get photos of the Portland sign especially if it's somebody from out of town.
I love Burnside, I ignore everything everyone else has trouble ignoring... Yet, I'm Present in the moment, and fully aware of my surroundings. Just comfy.🙂
I have to cross this bridge every single day to get to work, and boy do you see some things. Whether it be the famous unicycler blowing his fire breathing bag pipe or a woman feeding 20 seagulls a bagel, you’re probably going to have some sort of interaction. A great point to catch a sunrise over the east side of the sunset over the west side illuminating the classic Portland sign. Only big negative (although the construction will eventually yield a better bridge) is the ongoing construction. It has made bike/walking congestion a bit complicated on both sides of the bridge.
Always a beautiful place to visit right at sunrise or even at sunset. Spectacular views of the north end of downtown Portland, the industrial area businesses along OR Hwy 30 and the Willamette River, and the very photogenic Cathedral Park just under
This historic bridge is featured in the opening credits of the TV show Portlandia. A lot of thought went into the design of the bridge from the garden areas on the four corners of the bridge, to the four seating - rest areas, to the architecture of
There is occasionally magic and mystery underneath the Morrison Bridge, and I am honored to be invited to review this scenic highlight of Portland, Oregon.
Known for seismic instability, frequently closed lanes and death deifying highway on ramps. T
I love this spot. They have one of the best cappuccinos in Portland. The staff is always kind, and friendly. And the tunes are always on point.
Pro tip: ask for sugar crunchies on your capp. You wonât regret it!
Lexie is everything youâd want in a trainer. Smart, funny, and down to earth, but also tough enough to keep you motivated. Iâve been working with her for a year and a half and Iâve made significant progress in terms of strength and mobility. Iâ

I absolutely loved this spot!! We stumbled upon it after picking up some food from the Cart Blocks trucks. We were welcomed in with our food and purchased a glass of wine to enjoy with our food on the top deck. The atmosphere is so lovely! The serve

This place is fantastic. This was our first visit. The customer ahead of us was giddy to recommend their house made vanilla syrup for our coffee drink and the âwicked awesomeâ sandwich. We arenât vegetarians but he was so insistent that we chan
Awesome facility and located 5 minutes away. It was easy to find, although I wish it had a Risio sign outside. Their website was nice to navigate through and book a drop in session. Margaret the owner communicates and follows through and she looks li
