Make sure to enter from Murphy side. Google maps has the pin at the back of the restaurant and it walking by the stinky trash area. Service was great! We made reservations but we came early on a weeknight and there was no one there. By the time we left, it was full except for some outside tables. We ordered way too much food. Everything we ordered was good. My favorites were the palata, green tea salad and the tofu dishes. Mango salad was a little disappointing, not much mango on it. Didn't get a pic of it. This is somewhere we would come back again.

We were looking for a restaurant on Murphy to eat outside and we decided to try Burma Taste. We were seated on the heated patio, which was perfect given that the weather was rather cold. We were immediately asked about the drinks and given the menu. We went for tea salad, fish noodle soup, sesame chicken and garlic noodles on chicken. We got the food almost immediately. Their tea salad is the best one I have ever had and here I am comparing it with a couple of well rated Burmese restaurants in San Francisco. The portions were very generous and everyone loved their food (which is rare for our family). Our server was a very nice and courteous young man. We had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Food: Got takeout from here after watching a movie at the AMC. We ordered 5 items, and they were all fantastic! The palata with veggie curry was super yummy - perfectly fried palata with flavorful curry. The tea leaf salad is a great, standard vegetarian option. Of the two noodles we ordered, I’d suggest the Burmese noodles with shrimp over the nan gyi thoke (which is one of their signature dishes). The lemongrass chicken is an awesome source yummy protein. Dishes are a bit on the smaller side for takeout - three of us finished off all 5 items. Service: Really nice people working here who give a lot of suggestions! Atmosphere: Has indoor and outdoor seating (on a pedestrian street) and seems like a cozy spot!

Great food and lovely people serving! We got the Burmese noodles, tea leaf salad, kabat with jasmine rice, samosas, and the Burmese milk tea cocktail. The tea leaf salad was SO good. Kabat is yummy and a little spicy. We sat outside because the air was nice and cool, but there seemed to be a lot of pollen in the air drifting around. Walked in on a Monday evening and immediately got seated.

We were at the AMC to watch a movie and there after we came here for lunch. It was a bit challenging to find this place as you can enter this restaurant from the front and back side too. It's a huge place with seating inside and outside. We were seated outside as the weather was nice and not too hot. We ordered cocktails and food and dessert, all were delicious. The service was great by Khaled our server. I loved everything about this place. I will highly recommend it.

Amazing taste. Each dish we ordered had a unique flavor. Good portion sizes and very well worth it. Great service too. We will definitely be back to this place.

Rainbow salad, Shan tofu, and palatha were great. Large portions. Eggplant curry was ok. Went a second time as well!

I'm thrilled to share my fantastic experience at this beautiful Burmese restaurant in Sunnyvale downtown. The food here is incredibly delicious and bursting with flavors, offering a wide variety to choose from. What impressed me the most was the friendly staff and their attentiveness to our needs. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find plenty of mouthwatering vegetarian options available on the menu. It's not just my favorite restaurant, but also my husband's go-to place for Burmese cuisine. When we visited with our friends, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We couldn't get enough of the Shan tofu, which was a true delight, and the curries were simply divine. Overall, this restaurant has won our hearts with its delectable dishes, warm ambiance, and top-notch service. If you're looking for an exceptional Burmese dining experience, this place is a must-visit!
