Burlew's Seafood and Steak - Seafood restaurant in Keyport - 59 W Front St, USA

The food was really good, but a bit bland for my taste. I love food with some more spice or heat. Being a seafood restaurant, they were out of some ingredients, and I expected that it's possible if they used fresh ingredients. The recommendations by the sever were on point. Will have to go back for what I wanted.

The soft-shelled crab sandwich was good, but I would have appreciated an optional sauce or two in order to spice/change it up a bit. Also the bun was ok. Nothing special, but it has a decent quality to it.

Fresh ingredients, the calamari is one of the best I've had, food was great overall. Some selections were sold out but it was understandable, ribeye sandwich was a little on the bland side but still enjoyable. Burlew's is real popular, no matter what time you're going it's gonna be busy, and after dining here...I can see why.

Had been to Burlews last week with my girl gang. We all jibed along the vibrant environment set up by the bar tenders and their waitresses. All the dishes that we ordered were delicious. Our bar tender was quite funny and sarcastic. Enjoyed ordering drinks from him. Later for starters we ordered the sweet & spicy fried shrimp calamari and blackened swordfish bites. Both the dishes were too good and the quantity was also on the heavier portions. For main course we ordered the Lobster roll, Chicken Parmesan sandwich and fish Tacos. We enjoyed eating all the dishes. Regarding parking - even though they have 6 spots adjacent to the restaurant, you may find free parking nearby around the boardwalk of keyport. Overall I would highly recommend this place if you are around keyport.

Haven’t been here in the longest time. Well I should have went some where else , when I asked for shade and they put us in the sun. So disappointed.! Not crowded so why should put us there ? The prices are through the roof. Things are so different. Metal table and chairs are gone. Don’t know when that happened. Saturday night in august and not crowed at all. Menu is changed. Many things are now market price. Music was loud and horrible. Musician was singing raspy because he was screaming the worst songs, never heard of them ever. Girl at next table was showing off and shouting all her stories. Couldn’t talk at the table , with all the competition .Food was good. Excellent shrimp. Calamari and wings too were good. Won’t be back anytime soon. To pricey. Waitress was polite. Better places around with better prices.only good thing is bay across the street.

The only way to really do seafood the right way is to make sure the restaurant is by the water. Burlew's located in Keyport is that place. Can't say that I go there often, but the handful of times I've been there were nothing but an overall great experience. The view overlooking the ocean is a major plus. All the way 5+ stars.

We went there in Tuesday evening to celebrate birthday 🥳 ( this place does not accept reservations but was not very very busy so we did not wait for the table at all). I like really my seafood 🦞 over linguine pasta 🍝 my husbands lobster, scallops, shrimps were good but sauce was missing with this food really! Butter 🧈 is good for lobster but what about other seafood on the plate?! Also I do not like they do not serve you bread. Plus be aware on 3,5 percents charge on your credit card 💳

We went early 5:00pm and the place was packed. It's a beautiful view from the restaurant's second floor. Since it was crowded we had to sit inside, so we didn't get the great view, and it was very loud. My eggplant special was good, and our server Sarah did a fantastic job.
