Burger Tavern 77 - Hamburger restaurant in Columbia - 2631 Devine St, USA

This is THE spot to go if you’re craving a burger, well-seasoned and perfectly crispy fries…and don’t skip out on the onion rings! Not only are the prices very reasonable, the portions are very generous! They have 3 bun options, including a brioche onion bun which is highly recommended, and several house-made sauces that really elevate the burgers and sides. The service was very friendly, attentive and pleasant. Will definitely be a repeat offender at this spot!

We visited Burger Tavern 77 on a whim, not real hungry but needed something. The place is quirky, cute signage, and different items to look at around the place. We were seated quickly, and ordered (5) pretzels, the plate weren't cleaned properly so he brought us some clean ones, (I hope) We ordered from the Savor Sweet and Unique menu, and got the glazed sugar donut burger with a side of onion rings. 1) The pretzels were over fried, burnt, and hard. The cheese sauce was good, and the mustard was too. No regular ranch, but some other one. 2) The donut burger, was something interesting, a type of slider, so we ordered the 2 GSDB's meal. Then our eyes opened, and we were really surprised at how tasty it was, and probably would order this one again, and again. It was like lunch and dessert rolled into one. Don't knock it until you taste it. 3) The tower of rings were really good. Good size of onions, batter was good too. We'd order these again as well. 4) The man who served us was nice, and friendly. We only had water, no drinks. Over all we'd go back for that donut burger, and try some other items on their list. It seemed clean inside, bathroom was clean. Over all, we'd go back as they had a very interesting menu and a 77 sauce, not sure what that is though. Enjoy!

Grate place to grab a drink 🥃 the food is excellent all ways get the burger but tonight decided to get the bLt 🥪 chicken on Texas toast. They have some very cool stuff in the walls :) come on by and check it out for yourself!!

I’ve tried all the Burgers and my favorite is the Charleston always cooked the way I want. Their onion tower is supreme and the service is friendly professional and very welcoming. I also love they have my favorite beers bottled or on tap and always served very cold. This place is my number one burger joint in Columbia SC. They also make a mean Cosmopolitan which is a surprise

Burgers but better!! Loved all the twists they have on the classic. Great service, food was hot and fresh, and didn't have a long wait time between ordering and eating. We will definitely be back!

Old tavern style place . Burger was great, tasted like fresh ground beef, flavourful and well cooked. Onion rings and sweet potato fries were also very tasty. Wish I lived close by.

The only issue I had was that my tater tots were burnt. However, the waitress brought me some fresh ones, and the cool thing about our experience is that my hubby and I created out my own burgers, named them, and one of the being a Buffalo burger. Very tender and flavorful. We would go back.

I've been going here for the past 5 and a half years and have loved it dearly (frankly I should've left a review much sooner). I've gotten fantastic food without fail. Their servers are welcoming and have remembered me on several occasions. I know exactly what I'm getting before I get there and they've consistently made every item accurately, sometimes faster than I'd have thought possible. I love being here, whether it's hanging out with friends or just going by myself. I'm looking forward to going again and again for as many years as they're open for.
