Burger Press & Shawarma Cart - American restaurant in Edina - 7143 France Ave S, USA

I'll be honest, due to the mixed reviews, I wasn't expecting much but I was truly blown away by how delicious these burgers were. They are probably in my top 3 burger places in the Twin Cities. I'll preface this by saying that we went at an off-time, so the place was empty and service was relatively quick. The restaurant is spacious and has an open concept with a modern interior. I imagine if it's busy, noise will carry pretty easily. The restaurant is self-checkout style - you order at large screens and pickup at the counter. If needed (or if you have a gift card, for example), you have to order with one of the employees at the front. I got the White Truffle Burger which has a smashburger style patty, truffle mayo, Swiss cheese, and toppings of your choice - I chose lettuce, tomato, and onions. It was phenomenal. Lots of flavor. I loved the large buttered bun. The burgers are larger overall than what I tried at other burger spots. The fries were delicious and tasted better than some other nearby chains. The downside is that the burgers are quite pricey. However, you are paying for quality meat - 100% Angus beef. The meat is also halal which is great for those who only eat halal certified meat. Overall I think this is a great burger spot and will be willing to try it again if I'm in the area!

Honestly we were extremely underwhelmed by this place. The burgers were a bit pricey for what they were. It's not even worth it to get a single patty so if you go just get a double patty. The service was decent, granted we were the only ones there. And the milkshake was not as good as I thought it would be.

Tried their Smokey Chipotle burger. The smash burger tasted great. The buns were fresh and soft. Fries were crispy. The interior is very neat and modern. Staff was friendly and courteous. Best part is that everything except for the Hot Dogs is Halaal

We came here per the recommendation from our daughter who said the burger and fries taste similar to In&Out. I would say, pretty close. We had Press (California) burger and fries, Oklahoma burger and Shawarma (see pics).

Great butter burgers. Only thing I will say, is they don't cook them medium otherwise great spot and flavor. Respectable Chicago dogs with neon relish.

Tried this randomly against my gut feel. The place was empty, the workers didn’t look great to me and my feel wasn’t good. I got my double w fries and thought the burger was subpar. Nothing special at all. It was edible but Shake Shack would have been a better use of my money. I paid $22 for a very underwhelming burger and fries. I will go elsewhere.

Am I the only person who's noticed the apparent lack of carbonation in the sodas? All their soft drinks taste stale and flat, and despite multiple complaints nothing has been done to fix it. The Truffle Burger was admittedly good, but the Schwarmas are way too salty and everything was over-priced. I wont be going back unfortunately.

10/10 burger, fries were crispy but soft on the inside. if they were like 25% cheaper I'd be a regular customer. $20 for a double burger and fries was a bit too much. But it was absolutely fantastic. I left happy. I'm just sad I'll probably never go back for pricing reasons alone.
