We really enjoyed driving through the entire facility. The visitor center is a great place for a pit stop. Proud of LSU for sharing this beautiful research facility with the public. Whether you have time for walking the trails and visiting the museums or just a quick visit driving through the gardens, definitely make this a priority for your time in Baton Rouge.

A great place to understand the history of Louisiana, slavery, agriculture and how this country is built on the shoulders of slaves. I cannot unsee what I saw in this museum. Make sure you have enough time to see everything and read the text. I appreciate the fact that despite this cruel history, they have a good and clear demonstration of the past. It's bitter but it should be recognized. I need to go back again to learn more. They have a beautiful hiking trail which is mostly shaded. The garden is pretty and I would love to have a picnic there.

To say that I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, I've never been to this place until last Friday because my nephew had a field trip with his school there. I really didn't get to see all of it, but what I see was very nice. The corn maze was a bit small, I have been to larger ones, but it was nice for the area. I didn't know there was a petting zoo.

There is so much to do here. You could visit several times and do something different each time. The museum is terrific. The trails program is a sanctuary in the middle of the city. The children's areas are a big hit with my kids. There's a large amount of community events and activities. Come see for yourself.

Burden was a cozy spot to walk around with the family, with a bunch of fun informational posters and wildlife, even in the winter season.

What a beautiful public park and nature center. When we were there, a wedding was being set up in the Orangerie that incidentally was designed by A. Hays Town and it looked beautiful. There also is a huge area dedicated to raising bees and the walking paths are fun and educational especially on an early spring day. Go and check this out.

Was on my way to the VA clinic and stopped through here for a few moments of peace. Super quiet and of course I didn’t get to explore it completely. Plenty of trails to explore and they keep wildflowers growing. I did see late season sunflowers and corn being grown closer to the museum portion. Will definitely come back when I have more time allotted for a longer visit.
