Amazing. Building your own pasta is great. Mind blowingly good food. Very intimate wonderful dining experience. The artichokes are a great appetizer. Enjoyed a carbonara with spaghetti noodles. They have a good option for gluten-free pasta, which tastes delightful.

This is probably my favorite Italian restaurant near San Diego so far! The pizzas were amazing; they had a soft and fluffy dough, well balanced and fresh flavors, and delicious overall. My only regret was eating them too fast. The burrata and eggplant appetizers were also delicious and beautiful. We ordered the mille-feuille which was perfect: the puff pastry was incredibly crispy and the pastry cream was smooth and fragrant.

Tried out Buona Forchetta for the first time today it was pretty amazing! Started off with the fried calamari, so fresh and tasteful. Then ordered a pizza and a Buona Forchetta blonde beer. One of the best pizzas I have ever had! The beer was great as well. Only problem service was a bit slow but it was really busy which is understandable. Definitely recommend getting a pizza! Soo good!

This place is amazing. From the host(s) to the server, my partner and I enjoyed our visit here so much. We had the 2 most amazing pizzas and some appetizers to share - what’s more is that they gave us a 3rd pizza for free when they mistakenly provided us the incorrect pizza (even though it was insanely delicious!). Our server was so friendly and genuine. The patio is okay - inside and out front would be preferred however. But aside from that, loved this place!

We enjoyed our visit here in early July 2023. There were fibers there for dinner. We had a number of antipastos and two pizzas, one vegetarian one with meat. A tasty salad, and some other enjoyable food that I'm not remembering at the moment. Our waiter did a wonderful job. The atmosphere was great. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their evening. It was pricey. A good place to enjoy good Italian cuisine with attentive and friendly staff.

Buona Forchetta is EASILY my favorite pizza place. The perfect pizza every time we go. It just tastes so natural and authentic. You don't feel bloated like all the other pizza places. Everytime we visit San Diego, my wife and I automatically think of this place. You can't go wrong ordering the Regina Margherita. 10/10

This was some of the most amazing pizza. The service was wonderful and the food amazing. We all got pizza and they tasted amazing. We visited on a July Saturday afternoon and they sat our party of 7 immediately. The Sergio pizza is to die for. Highly recommended!

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere! I’ve been here several times, and it’s ALWAYS a wonderful time. I haven’t tried anything that wasn’t amazing, but favorites include the margarita pizza, GF focaccia, amateiciana pasta, calamari, and cannoli!
