Bulldog Ale House - American restaurant in Carol Stream - 1021 Fountain View Dr, USA

Visited on a Sunday evening shortly before a Chicago Bears Sunday Night Football game. For a Sunday evening, this bar was very close to empty. We ordered the mushroom tacos which were average and we also ordered two cheese pizzas. The pizzas were really good and I would recommend them. Ordered a few rounds of Bulldog Amber Ales and Bulldog IPAs. Both the cheese pizzas and Bulldog drafts were the Sunday special and at discounted prices compared to other days. The TVs around this bar definitely need an upgrade - Some of them have constant black horizontal bars that appear every few seconds and some of them have discoloration issues. The bad quality of the TVs are noticeable because they are super outdated and need a major upgrade around this bar.

Had a pick up order today. Got there at the time it was said to be ready and waited about 15 min for a server/hostess to even acknowledge me. She asked "can I help you?" I'd said "I have a pick up order for [name]. She walked away and said nothing. Waited another 10 min for a different server to bring me my food . By the time I'd gotten home, the integrity of the food was compromised. Fries were saggy and cold... wrap saggy from sitting in sauce. Very disappointing.

Wasn't able to get a shot of our boneless wings, but dang, they were excellent. I started with the Bloody Mary with a Weiss chaser. No complaints about either! Server was great, albeit extremely busy. I'd come back for the wings alone, though. We had the mango habanero (we ordered this again they were so good) sweer bourbon, and sweet chili. All excellent. Never thought I'd enjoy bar food that much 😂

I had to walk out of the playoffs last Sunday it's going to meet a friend of mine to watch the Bears game there but the stench of the place was just so god-awful I had to leave the smell in the stench around the bar area and it permeated the rest of the restaurant I had to leave!! The TV's need to be updated it is almost impossible to watch a game in a color TV that has the actual colors of the grass and the actual colors of the team.. I was there a couple of weeks ago and the food was good and there was no awful smell. It is a very nice place however they need to fix a few things before I go back. One get rid of the to fix the or get new TVs there's a Sam's club in at Costco not too far away

I ordered chicken marsala, Mac and cheese and truffle fries for pick up. Apoun opening the bag when I got home there was truffle oil all over every container. The chicken marsala was not breaded as it has been in the past there was no marsala sauce and the food was cold even though they just pulled it out as I got there. There was a 20% deal going on sun to Thurs I don't know if the cooks just suck today or the quality goes down because it was discounted but say the least I was very disappointed. I have had chicken marsala there before and it was good so I was pissed when it wasn't held to the same consistency. I ordered on November 27 2023 around 8 pm so Bulldogs check your cooks. Just stay consistent with food and you won't get these bad reviews. Also we tipped 15% on the website which pisses me off even more. To top it off pretty sure I got sick aswell because I have had nothing but stomach aches since I had alittle of it.

The burgers are very good. Bartender ensures you are enjoying your meal. TV's sometimes have issues, but great place to watch a sporting event.

Great sports bar to go for a beer and a burger. They have daily specials including $2 burgers on Mondays and 1/2 price pizza on Wednesdays. They have four different options for fries (regular, waffle, curly, sweet potato) and tater tots! Plenty of televisions for watching the game(s) and very attentive servers. Great location near Veterans park.

Quick and easy lunch spot and sports bar. Lots of their TVs are losing their picture which was annoying to watch on. I’m not talking about just 2 or 3, seemed like almost all of them were starting to fade and die. Service at the bar was friendly and quick.
