Bulger Park Veterans Park District - Park in Melrose Park - 1601 W Hirsch St, USA

Bulger Park At first glance of Bulger Park when my children and I pulled up in the car, I was excited to see the dual bocce ball courts, I'm a huge fan, and play it any chance I get. The kids made a mad dash straight to the amazingly large playground located next to a clubhouse, I've learned they hold many events and gatherings there. There's a clean even pathway that encompasses the entire park where one can walk or stretch and take in some fresh air, or maybe even just have a cup of coffee under the gazebo located in the park. The open field itself is large enough to have fun and is a great place to fly a kite. One final feature is the baseball field, many games are hosted there each season, the bleachers are nice, and there's ample parking. Bulger Park is an excellent park for kids and family. Now that our family knows it's so close to home, we walk there each time we visit.

Don't Even Bother Coming To This Park If You do parkour & you want to exercise either. The Security/Safety Monitor Told Me I Could Not Exercise Here Even though A lot of adults & teens played at this park playgrounds too. My Disappointment Is Very Sad With Nothing But Anguish Inside Of It.😢 I Would Not Even Bring My Kids Here Either. Other Than That Its A Beautiful Park overall.🌺 Thank You But No Thanks Bulgar Park 😞💔💚

It is a nice park. Looks clean and well maintained. Guy working there is constantly rolling around smoking cigarettes though. There are parents who roll up, let their kids out, and then sit in their car. Letting their kids run wild with no supervision which is very annoying. Kids using foul language and just being a nuisance with no supervision makes it difficult to take my young children here.

this park is really friendly but the security guard there is really disrespectful. He told us that there is a no dog policy and no riding bike policy but yet he was smoking in front of the kids. im guessing smoking is allowed but riding bikes isnt? yikes. nice park though

Great Halloween event tonight

Every Jehovah’s Witness in Chicago has either had a baby shower, bridal shower, wedding or some kind of party here😂 don’t blame them tho price is right and place fits a lot of people 👌 place itself is surprisingly very nice inside!

Mid ah park, goofy ah security guard, he yelled at me for riding my bike but you could smoke💀💀💀🤤🤤😜😜🙄🙄 and he banned me, like what you finna do you cant even get out your golf cart. Anyways some hot ah girls😜😜😘🥰🥰☺☺😍😍😍😜🤤🤤🥺🥺

The park is very nice. But the staff is absolutely terrible. I took my daughter to ride her bike and a staff member is going to be speeding in this little carts right past her. Ridiculous!!
