Buffalo Wild Wings - Chicken wings restaurant in Roanoke - 4335 Starkey Rd, USA

Although I am a fan of their parmesan garlic wings sauce, there isn't anything spectacular about the wings they serve. Everything else on the menu is just what you'd expect to find here and all taste like decent bar food. But hey, with cheap prices and a wide selection of beers on tap, you cannot really complain. I find myself frequenting this place whenever I am in the Roanoke area and have not had any of the bad service people are taking about, either because I don't notice it or I'm already drinking and I don't care. C'mon this isn't a fancy steakhouse or something! Also recently they opened up another bar area which helps declutter some of the restaurant's main bar area. Whenever I feel like kicking back, grabbing a few beverages, and watching a game or two, BWW is always a safe bet in my book.

Ugh, food seems to be on the decline in quality, presentation and flavor. The beer is good and cold, but an order can take a long time to get to you...your glass will be empty for a while before a refill is offered and brought to your table. Forget about trying a limited time flavor - they never have them available. The place could use a refresh and quality+quantity for the money a boost!

Order was messed up as soon as we got it, asked for all flats and all drums. Attempt #1 wings came out 2 short and the all drums came out with flats and drums. They took it back and check this out. Attempt #2- all flats come out with 2 drums, the waitress gave them to us and stated here are your all flats( really it had two big drums on the plate) this was the two missing flats from earlier. lol. The all drums came out all drums with no sauce on the replacement drums and low and behold a hidden flat under the additional drums. The entire experience was a joke, BWW employees at this location are a joke. Their attention to details is below average.

A good example of a standard BWs. Has trivia, sports, wings, etc. clean, friendly staff. Would be nice to get some non-sports variety on the TVs, but the sports theme is quite obvious so no real issue.

I don’t do bad reviews intentionally, but this is just SO bad I’m making an exception. This is their “large” $17 salad. Positioned on top is a small salad fork for comparison. The “salad” is mainly black or brown slimy lettuce and carrots; tomato etc missing. Either mold or blue cheese present, I’m allergic to blue cheese and noted to not have any, so I’m grateful the rest was so foul I didn’t try eating it. The chicken was dry/rock hard & could not even be cut with a sharp knife. Not all my disgusting photos are posting for some reason but I’m very concerned about the health risk this poses.

Edit 9/26/2023 Went back to give this place another try on saturday 9/23, and it was the complete opposite experience from my last visit. Everyone was nice, service was great, and food was amazing. Glad to see their previous issues didnt continue. Looking forward to more dinners here! 8/25/2023? No one at the front desk. Had to call to the back and ask if anyone was working here twice. Hostess came up and we said we were looking to be seated. She responded with "uh huh" and walked back into the back rooms ignoring us. We waited a few more minutes and then walked out. This place has amazing food but the employees are obviously dragging it down fast. Hope they get their act together soon.

I was disappointed when we got our food here last night. I can look past the not so great service considering they were busy and short staffed (like everyone else), but how does that justify not checking the food before it leaves the kitchen? After waiting a hot minute for our food our wings came out with hardly any sauce on them (see pic). We even asked for EXTRA sauce to begin with. When our server finally came back around to check on us (someone else brought us our food) we asked for extra of every single sauce as there’s like nothing on our wings. She was nice and got it for us fairly quickly. Again, I can look past the not so great service considering the world these days, but it’s super disappointing to see such lack in quality.

We moved to Roanoke from Columbus Ohio about a year ago and we used to eat wings very ofter at BW3. Since, we have had to limit the number of times we BW3 because this location has the most inconsistent wings ever. We typically order to go wings and they are 80% of the time cold. Even when we have dined in the wings have either been sitting too long or are burn beyond recognition. It is rare to receive well-cooked fresh off the fryer wings at this location. Get it together guys! Your servers do a great job and overall a good atmosphere but there's something going on in the kitchen that needs fixed ASAP.
