Buffalo Wild Wings - Chicken wings restaurant in Owensboro - 4736 Frederica St, USA

I walked in on a Saturday night and noticed they were dead. So me and my wife sat down and waited to be serve. We waited 15mins just to put in a drink order. When we received our drinks she didn’t give us straws or asked if we wanted an appetizer. 10 more mins go on and she finally comes back and we asked for straws and told her what we wanted. I made sure to make sure we got ranch and what didn’t we get, ranch… it took me asking a busboy next to me to get that and my Cesar salad. She then comes back and said she never placed the order for my salad. We didn’t receive any refills from our waitress until she brought the bill. I had to ask someone else for a glass of water. I would understand if they were slammed, but it being late and can clearly watch your waitress sit around and talk with other staff members and play on her phone just isn’t cool. Especially, when your bill comes out to $70 and the food was luke warm. I made sure I still tipped. However, this wasn’t like it usually is. If we had better service I would have nothing but nice things to say. (Food was okay) kinda cold cause it probably sat back there more than 20mins due to waitress.

Any time we visit this location there is an issue with something...slow, tons of dirty tables, trash all over the floor, the bathrooms working or being nasty. Bathrooms were the latest issue. We came in, choose a table in the bar, ordered and were brought our drinks. Server came to take our order, then left...to come back within 5 minutes to say "the bathrooms are broken again, so I can bring your food, but you can't order anything else or any more drinks." Again. Seriously. I've tried to brush it off when there was an actual porta potty truck parked out front but the persistence of the bathroom issues has ended my relationship with this buffalo wild wings. If there isn't a bathroom, what are the employees doing? How are THEY washing their hands, dishes, using the restroom? Prepping my food and drinks? Disgusting. I do not plan on coming back until this issue is resolved. And your poor employees!!!! There was a game on, and they're losing out on their tips and income for something they have zero control over. I'll find other places to eat wings and drink. Our server was very nice about it, but clearly frustrated. When we left there were customers standing out from questioning US as why there was a closed sign on the door when there were people in there and a game on.

I use to come here all the time. It was a great restaurant. It wasn't the huge sports bar that it is now. It seemed to be better than it is now. There are just too many televisions with too much on. When the place fills up you can barely talk to anyone because it is so loud. I'm not saying expanding a place or remodeling is bad. you shouldn't go overboard. Because when you do. You lose the charm and character that works so well.

We were there with our youth hockey team on a busy Sat night. The staff did a great job taking care of us, although it was busy so it was a lengthy process. A little too chaotic for my taste, but as expected. They should play more hockey on their TV's but otherwise, 👍. Thanks Owensboro...

Food was good! Not the greatest, but still enjoyable. Service was outstanding. Restaurant was clean, not too noisy, but still a sports bar environment. Don't like that? Order to go lol

Got takeout and the food was great, which is consistent for BWW. Service was pretty good, just had some difficulty with the egift cards.. The place is looking worn and could stand to be cleaned; I tried not to think what the kitchen looked like... Dined in recently and received great service and great food. Great service and great food again! Both seem to be great on a consistent basis.

Forgot what the male bartender was a couple weeks ago, all I know is he had earrings but every time I go I’ve noticed he never cuts off the females that drink alot but he always seems to cut off the guys that clearly don’t drink as much as the female guests: I used to come there a couple times a week and spend a lot of money but because of that weirdo bartender I’m never ever going back as long as I live. Beef o Brady’s is a hell of a lot better anyways: service and food is way better and never have to worry about having more then 2 or 3 beers without worrying about being kicked out

You know, sometimes during the pandemic I feel like the quality and service slipped a little but I generally like to give a pass to all places that stayed open. Now some places are hit or miss. This place had good wings, good service, and clean bathrooms. The wings came exactly as I asked for them which is a big deal to customers. So, this BW3's gets an A+ from me.
