We met for a family dinner and the food was great! The prime rib was bigger than expected, the salad bar was fresh and the sweet potato fries were phenomenal! Super historic with amazing animal mounts. Special pricing for mid week was very affordable.
Lots of great historical things to see while you wait… and wait! I ordered off the menu and those in our party that got the buffet were completely finished eating their meal and dessert before our hamburgers arrived. I asked for my burger medium, as I described that I wanted pink in the center to the waitress, and it arrived burnt on the bottom, totally dry and not pink AND the roll was stale! The sweet potato fries were good though.
The Irma Hotel in Cody, Wyoming is always a chosen place to stay when there. Historical, clean, convenient, and haunted. We stayed in the newer area, and the room was extremely comfortable! Nice bed, thick carpeting, large bathroom with deep tub, and nice HOT water. |The 1st night of our 2 night stay, was horribly noisy. There is a old fashioned steam heater in the room, and it clanged and banged ALL NIGHT long. I used ear plugs and pillows, and still heard the clanging. The 2nd night, I decided to try and turn off the heater (there is also a electric wall heater, so wasn't sure this one was actually connected since it looked like an antique). I turned the white knob and amazingling the noise stopped and didn't happen the 2nd night. However the traffic noise was worse on Friday night than on Thursday night. The room on the 3rd floor newer area is exceptionally comfortable. And easy to loan luggage upstairs (did not see elevators). Parking convenient, and the food in the restaurant is exceptional! Walking the streets of Cody was a terrific experience too, and the Irma is in a perfect location You can even walk to the Buffalo Bill HIstorical Museum. |Dogs are not welcome - unless they are service dogs, and we had one. Since I needed to walk my dog a couple times - it was a perfect area for walk and easy to take care of "Tammy"|Thank you to the Irma for maintaining the historical aspects and good service.
Went to dinner here on the recommendation of a friend. The place is amazing (the bar!!!) with a lot of history but other than that our experience wasn't great. I ordered the chicken fried steak which comes with soup or salad from the buffet. It took me a little while to get my salad as there were several people ahead of me. Was over half way through with my salad when the server told me they were out of chicken fried steak. I then ordered the pork chop dinner. My fiance made several trips to the buffet and was almost finished and I was still waiting on my meal so I told the server to just delete my order. She apologized profusely. Then we went to get a drink at the famous bar and sat there for a good 5 minutes before someone told us we had to order from the other bar and bring it back to the the main bar. It would be very helpful if there was a sign indicating this so patrons are aware.
Hotel historique situé en centre ville. Parking.
We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, while maintaining the historical motif - we loved it. The only drawback was having to carry our bags up a flight of stairs, but it was not a big deal. The staff were friendly and we felt the rate was reasonable. |There is a ton of really interesting history connected with the hotel. It was a cool experience, which I recommend, and I’d definitely stay here again.
We stayed in the Agnes Chamberlain room and was pleased with its authenticity and functionality of the room. As mentioned in other reviews there are tv's in both rooms and the toliet does flush with a pull chain.|My Great Grandmother previously owned an apartment complex from this time period and it very much reminded me of that with its sturdiness and furnishings.||Yes, I know since the pandemic service and staff levels are not what they used to be. However, there are a couple of employees there that are horribly rude and have no business working in the service industry. One of them is the bartender (Bleach Blonde Hair and Nose Ring) she is very rude and harsh.|The other one works as a hostess and table setter, and when my wife was not ready to place our drink order 12 seconds after being sat she stormed off in a huff. The food came in generous portions, but was average. Our waitress was very nice, but still did not get our order right and intact.||I am subtracting a star due to the poor customer service displayed by those two individuals.||Overall, I liked the feel of the place but nobody wants to be treated rudely especially on vacation.
main dining was closed for a private party so we walked into the lounge as directed by the sign. no one told us where to gand after standing around for a feminutes I asked the bartender who told us to sit wherever we wanted. we sat near the fireplace. the decor is old, the chairs unconformable, but it all seemed to vibe old school west so it wasn't as bad as it sounds. Our waitress was fantastic! the food was pricy but good. 18oz ribeye is $48 bucks and probably weighed around 12oz plus a 6 oz bone. it was cooked a perfect medium and I'd give it a 3/5. the potato was good but the "salad" was barely cut iceberg lettuce with 2 beets 2 cherry tomatoes, and some black olives. the rack of pork ribs looked good and my friend said they tasted great without sauce. I wouldn't go back but it was a fun evening with a good friend and again, Great service!

I recently had the pleasure of returning for my third stay at the Chamberlin Inn in Cody, Wyoming. Consistently, it is an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment I checked in to the moment I reluctantly checked out, I was
Very nice hotel. However, Iâm not sure itâs worth the price to stay for a week if youâre visiting Yellowstone. Itâs a 50 mile drive to the entrance of the park then an additional 27 miles to Grand Loop Road. Breakfast is also not included, th
I'm a Hilton Honors diamond member... always stay in Hilton chains. Was driving through Cody on my way to Montana and needed to stay for an overnight. All of Cody's Hilton hotels were booked up so I ended up staying here at The Inn. It was a cute, qu
My husband, infant son, and I had a wonderful stay this weekend! The rooms were exceptionally clean with *lots* of pillows. The pillows were labeled firm and soft which was an added bonus for picky sleepers like me. Because we flew in and didnât ha
The ladies who work in this store are very helpful. I was receiving pictures to my gallery file that I did not take. They took the time to research the problem and solved it for me. Thank you. Also, never once did they try to sell me a new plan or t
Cody Craft Brewing is delicious! Their beer is top notch compared to all of the other places in town. Delicious hazy IPA and Pilsner. They have a great atmosphere as well. Just wish they had some more food truck or in house food options.
Love love LOVE this cute and amazing little gem. The shop itself is nicely set up with the market with amazing food for sale. Their menu is full of delicious options. I picked the Italian sandwich, which might seem safe, but itâs literally the most
What a cool experience! We are a family of firearms and history enthusiasts and this was such a fun day! Took the whole family (kids ages 10, 12, and 14) and the kids each shot a couple and the adults did as well. Jim was our RSO and he was FANTASTIC
So glad we found Beta Coffeehouse on our way into Yellowstone. The vibe was so friendly and cozy. It was lovely to hear locals be greeted warmly and the place was full of things to help you enjoy your time there (boardgames, books, art). The cold bre
Unassuming place turning out great bbq! We had brisket and pulled pork. Both were perfectly cooked - nice smoke ring, tender, yet firm. Both were also well-trimmed (not always the case when you get pulled pork). Beans had a nice flavor and were n
You go through the tunnels in the mountains to get here which is cool. Parking is plentiful and there were free golf cart rides to the dam/visitor center from the parking lot and back. Though it's not terribly far it was nice on a hot day not to walk
I walked into this store thinking there wasn't a chance I'd find a pair of Western Boots that fit right because I wear an uncommon size. Well, the associate put in a ton of effort and found me 2 really good options. After he spent over an hour workin
