Budget Motel-LD - Motel in Superior - 104 E 5th St, USA

For almost $700 for a week this was absolutely a scam. First of all, they left me with one roll of toilet paper that had about 1/4 left on the roll, they have a shower but no towels. Room was very poorly maintained, probably could have slept better on a rock than the beds they have. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all in my room and neither did the TV. For what the customers are paying don’t you think you would want the quality to match the price? Need I say more? Don’t waste your money here.

Price right. University of Wisconsin - Superior 1971 - 1973 now 2024. Student coming home and another student is greeter at New China where I did take out. Walmart quite a ways and bigger than Medford's

We stayed here because there were no vacancies anywhere from Marquette to Duluth. It is a very low quality inn. It was sort of clean but the shower curtain was very moldy. We paid more for this than any other room on our week vacation…and it was so poor.

The Asian people are friendly the rent is cheap and soon as you get the room you know you ain't getting your money back but they mind there own business and put up with me so their tolerant

Always a great stay. The owners are accommodating and polite at all times. Surprisingly enough the shower is huge with good pressure. Also laundry on site with HBO in the rooms. And lastly its literally only a hop and a skip away from Barkers Island. All in all a decent motel for under 90.00 a night. I will definitely stay there again.

This motel seems to be the place for construction workers. The cost was $89 and was definitely not worth it. The rooms were disgusting. Walls were dirty and bare, floor was filthy and stained. The bathroom shower was moldy and had multiple cracks. There was a separate cubby with the microwave and a/c which was also messy. No phone. If it wouldn't have been late when we arrived I would have gone elsewhere. Even considered sleeping in my car.

We arrived in the Duluth/Superior area without a hotel reservation and after checking with most brand hotels/motels, discovered outrageous prices. Settled for the budget price that we have become accustomed to paying at the brand hotels and that brought us to the Budget Motel. The only plus is that the beds were comfortable and clean. Otherwise, the room is very dingy, badly in need of a paint job. The air conditioner didn't work, the advertised Wifi didn't reach our room - we had spotty access if we left the door open - and we paid the same price $79 plus tax that we would have paid for much better accommodations with more amenities in other places. We felt taken advantage of and we wouldn't even consider staying there again or recommend it to others. Drive an hour and find something better down the road unless you want to pay $200/night elsewhere in Superior/Duluth.
