Budget lodge of Mount Dora - Hotel in Mt Dora - 18730 US-441, USA

Rooms were clean and everything worked as it should cold ac and kitchenette. Service was great . Location perfect right off 441. Why spend more money on an expensive hotels when you can get a better deal at budget and still save money . Pool cleaner than most people’s bathtub at Home. Don’t know why they have negative reviews ppl trying to get something for noting.

Disgusting, filthy rooms. A/C and fridge didn't work. Kitchenette had no dishes or pots/pans. When we asked the woman at the desk about getting done she scoffed and said they don't provide any. She refused us fresh towels. Rooms stink like mildew. Prices do not reflect the quality in the slightest.

This was the worst motel that I’ve ever stayed at in my life. The rooms are old and outdated and smell horrible, half of the A/Cs don’t work. My family and I constantly had problems with multiple things breaking or not working in the rooms and when we told the people in the office they were very rude to us and blamed us. The maids are nice but the wife and the husband are very rude, the husband is always drunk and drinks in front of people who rent rooms and the wife literally cussed me out. They have bed bugs, roaches, and mice and rats it’s disgusting, this motel should be shut down or they need to hire new people to run the front office I do not recommend staying at this place it is a nightmare!!!!!

The management is horrible! They gave us a hard time about getting clean bed sheets after a week, the guy running the place banged on my hotel door at 9:37pm trying to hustle me for $40 because my dogs nails ripped 2 sheets, which he already had $40 of my money for the dog, and he appeared intoxicated. Then Tuesday 04/25/24 his wife screams and flips out because I was informing them of seeing 4 cockroaches, like her husband asked me to do, and starts screaming at me and won't let me talk and stating how she has been in my room while I'm at work ,then not even telling me about it until this incident. They do not have respect for your privacy there and they are not professional nor have any customer service skills! When I asked if there was bed bugs upon first getting there they said no when I mentioned the reviews is response was anyone who gets kicked out claims to see bed bugs. There are no bed bugs at least not in my room. And they throw bed mattress from the second floor down to the ground when disposing of them.

I checked in at 11 o’clock had no TV or AC till 5 o’clock went out to dinner to a special event came back. AC was not working. I’ve booked two nights now he’s telling me it’s my problem so if you ever booked this place, you have lost your mind. Who tells me I have a brand new AC unit meanwhile, I saw them out in the driveway with a water hose cleaning out old air conditioning there’s nobody’s licensed or directed on any type of maintenance

Very nice hotel.the rooms are clean.havent seen ANY bugs.the workers and owners are very nice and friendly.they have an ice machine.and the bathrooms are clean.and there's free wifi that works good. 5/5 would recommend

I have never met better owners of a hotel or lodge. They are honest and kind and very safe. They keep a close eye out and know what’s going on.

This place is great. The owners are really caring and have a big heart. They keep up with the hotel and are willing to fix what has to be fixed. It’s quite here and don’t need to worry about any of the in and out and the drugs that are at other places
