Budget Inn - Motel in Fairfield - 2259 N Texas St, USA

Overpriced dump heap. Would not come back again nor recommend staying here. Place has bugs. Did not smell clean at all when checked in. Was blamed for damages that were there when checked in like the bathroom door being broken. Blamed my dog for chewing on the table. Some of the outlets in the room were damaged or missing pieces. The room door does not shut properly. Anyone that is not Mexican are told they can’t be outside their room other than to go to and from their vehicle. People drive thru the place like it is a race track. The staff is unfriendly and give you dirty looks.

The place is in popular area near everything the staff are friendly and helpful the rooms are clean they allow pets I have read through othé review people should really tell whole story because they leave out the fact they had 6 dogs 3 never left room yes people driving are fast that is everywhere room clean but you have to be able to pick up after self they are not personal maids

My husband and I as well as most of the rest of my family and several others we knew stayed here b/c we were coming from out of town for a wedding, and everything was terrible from the beginning. My sister's room smelled like smoke despite being a non-smoking room, and the cleaning person unplugged their fridge every day so they ended up throwing out food when they hadn't caught it the first day. They lost all of the reservations that had been made online, and when my husband and I went to check in, the woman said that there was no reservation, gave me attitude about it, said there was only one room left and it was a smoking room, and then tried to charge us a higher price (60 per night plus tax instead of the 50 plus tax price we had the reservation for) until I showed her the confirmation e-mail that had the price listed on it (which she decided to round to the next dollar). If it hadn't been so late at night, we would have gone somewhere else. The rooms were okay, but the blankets had cigarette burns and there were a bunch of small ants (some dead, some alive) in the bathroom.

Was there last night and pretty sure there are bedbugs. Have about 15 bites on my body that are consistent with bed bug bites i.e. several bites in a line on body. Was bitten everywhere... face, arms, back. Been here before when every other hotel was booked up (only as last resort when there are events in town so all hotels are booked) and have never been impressed with them, but definitely will never be coming back since there is some type of bug infestation. Totally grossed out and itchy

I would of got my money back and left if it wasn't so late. Budget inn is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at . Very disappointed ! The rooms are absolutely DISGUSTING ! The whole room smelled like gas, the windows had black mold in them, the frigerator microwave stove and table were filthy !! The tub was dirty and clogged with a bunch of built up hair. The carpets turned the bottom of my socks completely black. I would never recommend anybody to ever stay at this hotel . EVER !

Hotels had rated this Budget Inn three stars, so I was expecting a nice place. Boy, was I disappointed! This motel was old and shabby, and in a run-down part of town. The office is also part of the manager's living quarters, and the kitchen must be just off the office. At check-in, the office reeked of whatever the manager was cooking for supper. Manager was not friendly or helpful when I asked for directions. The towels and wash cloths were thread-bare. Nothing matched in the room, everything seemed to be "non-standard". When repairs had been made, no attempt was made to replace with something similar. Late at night, a couple living in "low rent" apartments adjacent to the motel, got into a loud argument outside. Gave me a creepy feeling.|

I called before arriving and was told a smoking room was available. Upon arriving 20 minutes later. The only room available was the more expensive 2 bed no smoking. I paid extra and smoked outside. Upon check out the manager refused to give me my deposit claiming I smoked in the room. Absolutely the worst customer service by the manager. He lied just to keep my money.

BED BUGS Checked in at 11:45pm, paid $90 cash for a nasty room. The shower rod fell off and hit my friend in the head. At 1:45am I was sitting on the bed and 2bed bugs were coming at me... Said they couldn't refund my money!!!!
