Budget Inn - Motel in Durant - 2301 W Main St suite a, USA

We came here on 2-19-15, and leaving on 3-12-15. But while we were here, the carpet looked like it was dirty never shampooed and never swept good. The Maid was doing our room while we showed up, and the carpet had foam on it when I walked in to make it smell good. The Blankets had stains on them and one looked like it had Blood Stains on it, was Nasty. Every Wednesday I had to leave so they could clean, instead of changing the blankets they just turned them over. I asked to have my room swept, and instead was given a sweeper to sweep my own room, in which I done better then they did, but the carpet was so bad, it never looked cleaned with stains and stuff in bedded in the carpet. The towels, wash rags and hand towels were thin, stained and rough feeling. And I even took out my own trash and put my own trash bags in the trash cans. This Motel is only good if you are traveling through and maybe spending 1 night or 2, but longer then that NO!!! I wouldn't advise this Motel to anyone at all, ashamed I even stayed here this long, wished I would of brought my 5th Wheel and stayed at an RV Park, atleast my 5th Wheel is cleaner!!!!

The facilities are older but well taken care of. I spend one night for about $60. The lady at the front desk was nice and mentioned they had recently came under new management and had began making improvements. The room included a refrigerator. No bugs were felt or found. The entire room from beds, sink, to shower was clean. For someone wanting a place affordable just to spend the night Budget Inn is perfect. Other hotels were very busy but not this one. I had a well needed quiet nights rest.

Spend the extra few dollars and stay somewhere not gross. I stayed here about 5yrs ago and it wasn't bad. This time I couldn't believe how run down and disgusting it was. We almost just called it a loss and paid for another room somewhere else. I can't believe I paid over $70 to stay at this disgusting place. Never again! They need some serious deep cleaning or demolition.

I will start with a positive comment, there were no bugs. That must have been because they were smarter than us. The door didn't close at the bottom. I could see most of the parking lot through the crack. I forgot my house shoes, big mistake! The carpet, (I think it was carpet) was sticky like walking on syrup. I fixed the shower, but we couldn't get towels. The cable is great! If you speak Spanish. Good thing there wasn't a fire, because we found the broken fire alarm on the shelf in the bathroom. Oh, and the air conditioner worked well after we cleaned the nasty filter. All in all if I have to go back I will go to the lake and sleep in the bed of my truck.

The entire staff is just plain Rude. Especially the older woman who works night's in the office. One of the worst people I have ever dealt with who work in customer service. Not bad for a one or two night stay but I will not stay here any longer than that again. Our room wasn't as bad as other reviews. Our issues were with maid service just over all lacking we were here 6 days and our room was cleaned 1 time.. My husband didn't like the fact that the fridge didn't keep anything cold and it was hard for the AC to keep up. Overall horrible employees and a hot room.

The room was filthy - there was puke on the side of the bed, spiderwebs on the curtains, stains on the mattress slips was stained. the bedspread had burn holes, & there was hair on the shower drain. We checked in unloaded the SUV & left came back later that night about 9pm that is when we found everything - called the night clerk - she came to the room seen it offered us a room upstairs - I CAN NOT climb stairs so we said no. Ask if we could have clean things for the bed she informed us she didnt have access to that stuff, so she brought 3 towels for us to "cover it up". NEVER ONCE OFFERED OUR MONEY BACK - so we had to stay or we would have went somewhere else. Luckily we only had to stay one night. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN OUR TRAVELS!!!

This was the most dirty and broken down room ever!!! I am here now and must say I'm afraid I may get lice from the bed. I am leaning toward sleeping in the car tonight! We booked for 2 nights and will be only staying tonight. Even the tv is so busted it is blurry and staticky!!!! Spend the extra 20 and get a room that u can feel comfortable taking your shoes off! Ps we will be getting early check in somewhere else because there is no way we will shower in the filthy tub. There is even black marks all over the walls. All I can say is they should be ashamed of themselves!!!

Cheap rooms for a one night stay if your traveling. They did have a pool and it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's not the fanciest of places but pet friendly and that's what mattered most! No continental breakfast but McDonald's is next door.
