Budget Inn - Featured Reviews (131)
Clean, older motel. 18 wheeler friendly. Pretty easy in and out for this trucker. Staff was so kind, I drive at night and needed a place to check-in in the morning to sleep during the day. They totally accommodated me. The bed was comfy, sheets and towels were bright white no stains and SUPER SOFT! Would like to know how they do that. Mini fridge and microwave. Could use a door flange on the bottom of the room door, pretty big gap. Shower non-slip pad needs cleaning or replaced. I will stay again for sure and recommend to my other professional driver friends. If you are looking for a fancy place at a budget price move on... This is for working folks who need a no frills, clean place to lay their head.
This is an economy hotel so if you're looking for amenities, keep looking. It's a simple hotel with very simple rooms and it's an older hotel so the rooms have a bit of an antique look and feel. You'll get a mini fridge, microwave and TV with basic cable. There is coffee in the mornings but you need to call the office and ask for it before you head out. If you call 10 minutes in advance, the owner will have it ready for you. I've stayed here a few times and it's always been safe. The outdoor lights stay on at night and there is a restaurant within walking distance. The housekeeping crew is really great and welcoming. If there is anything they can do to help, they will. The owner is not intrusive and he and his wife walk along the parking lot in the evenings to get their exercise in. So it's a bit like extra security. If you're looking for somewhere to sleep and wash up or you're on a budget, this will suit you just fine.
When I walked in I was like oh no, room reeks of smoke and the floor is a little dusty. But the great working microwave, mini fridge, huge ac unit that blew ice cold and the perfectly functioning shower head made up for it. Totally worth 53.25 though.
I like this place. It's single level, you can park in front of your room and walk right in. The staff is nice, they have an ice machine on the property. It's an older place, but nice for the price. I'll be here a few weeks or so....already been here a week. The rooms are nice and spacious, bed is comfortable. Have a desk so I can work on my laptop computer, plenty of electrical outlets. I generally drive 44 to 60 miles to get here....depending on my current situation, workwise. Much cheaper than Brownsville rooms, especially on a weekly rate.
The reason why I give this place a 4-star rating, is because of the advantage that a truck driver has buy parking his truck in front of is room. I can keep a close eye on my truck, plus I've never been ripped off I've been coming here for years. Price is fair, and there is a nice cute little inexpensive restaurant about 50 yards from my room
Yes they are old but inside was updated and no bugs quiet and an awesome price and location
Owner has an ugly attitude and accused us of breaking the remote when we went to the front office to let him know that it wasn't working so we couldn't watch t.v&he automatically started yelling&accusing us that we had broken it,but yet it was the batteries that were no good like I had already asked him to check before...And I had also asked him for a room with a microwave and fridge after he gave me the key to a room which didn't have any of the 2 and he said that they were all dirty so that If I wasn't happy with the room that he had just given me then I could just leave....Smh.
Very polite staff. Kind of an older hotel but everything was clean and reasonably price lots of parking for semi trucks too. A very delightful restaurant sits on site. Definitely will be back anytime I’m in the area oh and Wi-Fi is very awesome there
Firstly, Iâd like to say as soon as you walk into Helix Piercing & jewelry, they stand out. The scent and cleanliness is extraordinary! Clean and bright. Secondly, the scope of knowledge both Jessica and Erick have in piercings, protocols, and afte
This place is legit tasty! ð The coffee is roasted on-site, is responsibly sourced from Latin America, and is the best I have had in the McAllen/Edinburg area. They also make their own lotion, chapstick, honey, tea, cookies, chocolate, and a ton
I will start by saying that this is an academy based on discipline and talent. Coach Lori, Coach Nick and Coach Vlad have extensive experience in what they do, they will always welcome you and make you feel part of the team, each one of the coaches t
We retired and bought a 40 foot motor home in 2010. Stoped here on advise of friends This was not on our radar at the time. We returned the next year and people greeted us saying welcome home. We returned every year and eventually bought a home here
Fascinating collection of old motorcycles. Most were Indians and Harlleys. There were a few other brands as well. There was a very nice selection of vintage bikes as well.
We visited this evening and enjoyed our short stay! ðThey had cute indoor swings, this wall to write on âï¸ & this cute sofa +. As always, God bless -John 3:16 ð â¤ï¸.
