Budget Inn - Motel in Danville - 1228 Piney Forest Rd, USA

If I could give this place a Negative 0, I WOULD! I was only in town for a night and I checked in late after 11pm. Online the pictures looked nice like the rooms were renovated, so I said what the hell! First off the Front Desk lady was VERY RUDE and all she said was if you smoke it's going to be a $200 fee! No hello, no thank you, nothing! The Rooms were straight up TRASH 🗑! I mean the painting on the walls weren't even decent! The bathrooms were crappy and I see what they did in disguising the photos for ppl to see! I have the real photos in my review! Needless to say I would Never stay there again and I recommend that YOU DON'T EITHER! OH I almost forgot! Check out was at 11am and the mean, grumpy faced Front Desk lady was standing outside my room at 11am sharp looking crazy as if I wanted to stay longer! Nobody wants to stay at the Bates Motel lady! Never Again!!!

If I could give a 0 rating on this place I would. I guess you get what you get for $90. We booked this place several weeks ago and I requested early check in because we were traveling from several hours away and had a wedding to get ready for. We arrive, and the front desk lady was EXTREMELY disrespectful. I told her we were here for early check in (that was confirmed online and I have proof) and she proceeds to say that “just because you are confirmed for early check in doesn’t mean you get it”. We then get to our room and it is obviously not cleaned. We had to go to Walmart and get cleaning supplies and wipe everything down ourselves. It smelled like smoke and cigarettes. The sheets had hair and stains all over. I would highly recommend you stay else where, just spend the extra money.

Check in was a little suspicious at first but the room was clean that's a plus. They have done a lot of remodeling but they miss the very small things.it still needs work and the prices don't reflect that regrettably. When you're working from out of town you can tell what you're getting yourself in for. There's nothing negative it's still a work in progress

I got a room here for 2 days. As soon as I walked into room 103 I regretted it IMMEDIATELY. The bedding had stains all over it as well as cigarette holes. The pillows were nasty looking and not comfortable. I had to have someone bring me blankets for me to use. The bathroom was so cold. The towels were so dirty and nasty. In order for the room to stay semi warm you had to leave the bathroom door shut. The fridge was LOUD and not cold enough for the few drinks we pit in it. And the heat quit in the middle of the night. Unfortunately I had to come back to this hotel. I was put in the same room. What a huge mistake. They NEVER changed the bedding. The bed wasn't even made up! The towels are nasty and dirty. All they did was take out the trash and put more towels in. They left the roll of toilet paper where I had left it. I don't recommend this place at all.

Hotel was good for the price. The room was clean, the staff was nice, and the location was convenient. The only thing that was a “negative” for us, was that there was no chain or hinge lock on the upper part of the door, so my 2 year old was able to open the door and exit if we weren’t watching

The room was had no hangers or towels racks. There was no place to hang your towels except for over the sink. No where to sit your luggage besides on the floor no where to hang your coats and no place to sit besides on the bed. The refrigerator had the thermostat removed so we couldn’t make it any colder, which it needed to be. We asked for more towels as soon as we got there they said, “they’d bring them” and didn’t run till the next morning and still didn’t bring extra towels. When they did bring the extra towels in the next morning all they did was empty the garbage and didn’t even make the beds.

I stayed here 2 weeks while getting home completely rewired. I was nervous as a single mom and child because of other reviews I had seen. Turns out there was nothing to worry about. Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy. Shower, no tub. Heat and air worked fine. I expected weekends to be loud, but surprisingly quiet our entire stay. Staff was friendly. Even went out in freezing rain to get me extra towels. I recommend it and would stay there again.
