I asked for the room to be properly cleaned as I am staying with my six year old. This seemed to be an issue as the front desk Amber has an issue with me wanting better service and threatening to not accept my payment for the next day. I placed my trash bin outside the door so the staff can get it. I asked for clean covers. She is being nice nasty. We pay $50.40 a day. $1500 a month . I’ve seen mice and roaches . Amber was so unprofessional the longer we stayed and should not be in a management position. Someone other than her husband is informing me of her infidelity with him (which is none of my business). She has no right to kick my daughter and I out of a room as she has threatened us , she doesn’t own and someone is paying. Due to her embarrassment. I am looking for a lawyer now as the owners information they don’t want to disclose. Amber you are lazy and I will be finding your husband and informing him as well. Leave people family be and do your job , as you wouldn’t want someone to do your kids like that. We were only staying because of the full fridge thats it. They need Jesus. We’re out. Not an apology or a refund just disgusting . Treat people better!!!

For $50 a night, this motel was the best I’ve been to. Everything was clean and neat. I got a nice, hot shower, and the bed was comfortable enough Great place to go !

Quiet, peaceful, calm, relaxing, & Best Weekly Rates in SW Cedar Rapids. Owners don't want, nor do they allow anyone who causes trouble or doesn't stay here. GUESTS MUST REGISTER AND PROVIDE A PHOTO ID OF ALL THEIR VISITORS AT THE FRONT DESK . Either you go to them or they'll come to you when you have a visitor. It was aggravating at first but well received once I stayed in the area a little while. They allow you to cook, and each room has a microwave and a FULL-SIZE refrigerator.

This is the cheapest place in town. It's not dirty, everything works, the bed was fine, and the shower was fine. If all you need is a place to sleep, this will do you just fine. It's also pretty well located as basically everything is within a 10 minute drive. That all being said, it is a bit sketchy. My room door only had a thumb push lock, and there was a random hole cut in the wall for a tissue box. I had no issues with anyone or anything, but the quality standard is lower than average.

The staff was amazing the rooms on the other hand are extremely rundown the building needs a lot definitely needs to be remodeled I was there for 2 weeks and I bet in that time frame my bedding was changed maybe 2x. The second time I went there my room was better the building needs to be completely.

Very nice management, the rooms are really clean. The neighbors all seem very friendly. The staff will listen to any issues you might have and address them asap. If you need a cheap place to stay for a day or a week, this is a good choice. Love the police presence, makes it for a safe visit. Give them a call and check it out! **Update** I would like to add to the review, that I have received a very polite 24-hour notice, of an inspection that is done every month or so. The inspection was a routine one that was done by terminix pest control, they regularly check for any signs of pests: roaches, bed bugs, spiders, flea, mouse. That's just to ensure you consumers that any negative comments you see about bugs, is a simple lie. This place is clean. I recommend you check it out for yourself.

This is my second time staying here for more than a week. It might be run down but when your in a situation, because let’s face it, life can be insane sometimes… this is a perfect place to lay your head when moneys tight. Staff has always been super nice and respectable. Staying here this time I will say it’s a lot more quieter than back in 2014. Which is a bonus in our case just for the fact my mini me and I have to be up early so I can go to work. I will also add it’s a little odd they want to see an ID from anyone who comes to visit but it’s not a big deal to me I’m not wanting any visitors anyway but find it strange either way 🤔.

Currently staying at budget inn from out of town. Rates are lowest you will find! Also, this place has drastically improved since my last visit years ago. Yes rooms are a tad outdated but they have done improvements and updates. It still needs work but I am very happy here. I have not seen any shady people or abnormal behavior from anyone who is staying here. Everyone is very nice and the staff are very helpful and very respectful. No drugs, no bugs, even provide coffee in the morning. I will be extending my visit and am very happy to stay here during. Bonus is a full sized fridge and microwave so I can save even more money by not eating out everyday. All in all I think this place is great.
