Price! Location! Clean! Quiet! Can’t say enough great things about this motel and their awesome staff. I travel across the country for work and I’m usually lucky if I can get 1 or 2, not all 4! Thank you Paul for making my stay great. Always had a bright smile and made extending my stay 3X a breeze.
I have stayed a tfew of these the one here in storm Lake was nothing like the one I stayed in Des Moines the people were really nice kind pricey, though and the air conditioner unit wow that filter was so plugged. I couldn’t even remove it to rinse it out. It was just filled with gunk so I can only imagine why my nose has been so stuffed up since I had left I was there for two nights
Great property, everything was in good condition, spotlessly clean. Comfy bed, great hot water and pressure. Convenient location, easy walk to restaurants and shops. Lovely family owns and operates the property, and their care shows!
I wouldn’t stay at this hotel if i were you. I had family staying here due to the flooding in spencer iowa. My family members, along with many many residents in Spencer lost everything. Budget Inn wouldn't give them a weekly rate. stating that "we only do that for construction workers". So they had to pay full price a night which is outrageous
Call direct and save money. Never judge a book by its cover. The rooms were nice beds were comfortable and spotless. Great deal
The motel is dated and that's the only thing I'll say that is bad. The owner was extremely helpful and kind. I was stranded because of the weather and they worked with me to get me a room for a second night. The rate wasn't too bad, rooms were dated but clean and the bed was comfortable. The Internet didn't work very well but still an overall good experience. Would definitely stay again.
Charged me for my service dogs. Cut my business trip short by two days and wouldn't give a refund. Ceiling falling in the shower.
It's not the best place but not the worst place beds are hard as the floor but it's a place to sleep I would come stay here again if need be but don't be scared to let them know what's wrong with your room ie. Dirty sheets or pillow cases towels

My daughter just turned 1 year and she loved it! It has an infant maze, and another area for older children with all sorts of things for them to do. (Different slides, swings, monkey bars, etc) There was also a beach area, kayak rentals and a snack

The fresh little appetizer donuts were amazing. I so wish this wasn't 7 hours from us. We were out of town for the weekend. But might have to make the trip again. I do love some dang good biscuits and gravy
