Budget Inn Monroe, LA - Motel in Monroe - 2115 Louisville Ave, USA

where our room was located was quite. the room is what you get for a 2 star motel. i personally didnt see any bugs, but my travel companion(s) did. lots of kids playing in the back parking lot. management was nice.

1. They don’t change the bed sheets. 2. These people are the rudest people I have dealt with 3. Horrible service, half way cleaned 4. Unexpected prices. 5,Recommended is just don’t go there

The bed sheets and the towels were not acceptable, the room was not properly clean very unsanitary ,no ice machine available or snack machine, no complimentary breakfast or coffee and they had roaches

Tried to make reservation over the phone. Everytime we'd call someone would pick up then hang up on us. Happened multiple times, and were never able to place our reservation and had to look elsewhere.

My experience was horrible. Front desk clerk not friendly or couresty at all. Room & carpet was nasty. Microwave didnt heat food thoroughly. Stains on walls and floors The short guy at desk was quite rude if you asked for additional amenties like towels etc. Seemed distracted and not willing to accommodate. The worst place every stayed. Wouldn't recommend in the future to anyone staying the weekend or passing thru

It is what it is. Cheaper than many places you'll find. Seemed relatively calm and noticed few other lodgers. The location isn't bad being near several big box stores and on one of the town's main business roads. Buses run right out front. Rooms looked clean enough. The style of the bathroom was kinda cool actually. Cold AC, mini fridge, microwave oven and decent TV setup. I've certainly paid more for worse accomodations. Keep it chill and avoid doing favors for any randos and you should be fine.

Very very nasty. Sewer wasn't working, racism at it's finest, filthy rooms, carpet is disgusting the owners are ignorant and disgusting. Didn't stay at all

Room was clean, smelled funny, but that wasn't just the||problem......... Don't trust them !!!! At first I wasn't going to||complain. There was a strange smell as you walk in but the room||was clean and we were tired. There was mildew on the shower||curtain. I would have just mentioned this to them until the $$||incident. We booked with Budget Inn of Monroe because of the $43||price on booking.com and drove further from the highway for this||price. When we got there we were told $59+. I showed her the $43||price on Booking.com but she said that there was also a $10||service fee. I asked for what and first we were told for cleaning?||What? All hotels clean and don't charge you. I thought it was||almost 1am I said I'd deal with this in the morning with the owner||who I was told was asleep. At 9am I went to see the owner and was||told the $10 extra stands for service fee? Again I asked. Then I||was told it was the Booking.com fee so I went to my room and||looked this up. On BC it clearly states that BC does not charge||any fees. I went back to the manager/owner and still she refused||to return the $10 fee (plus tax) and still this made our room||$53+, where we could of gotten a room for less closer to the||highway if we were going to pay this price. The Budget Inn will||bait you with the ad of $43 and then hook you with an extra $10||fee. Consistently she said their price is $60 and if you add the||$43, $10 and tax they made sure they got the $60 NOT honoring the||advertised BC $43 price. They are a scammer and do it well !!!||Then. don't even look at the pool. Plus you have to stand outside||to check in and we were there close to midnite. The pool was disgusting, white stuff floating all on the top......... I;ll be happy to send you pics !!
