Budget Inn - Motel in Mesa - 106 S Country Club Dr, USA

Quaint fur-baby friendly suites with kitchenettes. Enjoyed my stay, and felt comfortable as well as safe with the owner on premise. Neighbors were more than friendly. Would recommend to anyone needing an extended stay.

Everywhere else was booked. It was $85+ tax ($5) for a one night stay in a two bedroom. On top of that, a $5 deposit. The lady at the desk explicitly stated to me that my husband and I were to use JUST ONE bed, yet I was still charged for two. The staff were somewhat unfriendly, and very odd. There was no indication that it was cash only, but I had cash on me so it was no trouble. The room was spacious and clean from what we could tell, but the area itself had me apprehensive about being comfortable in the bed. The room smelled like an ash tray... It was either stay here or take a late three hour drive home. Would not reccomend. Pay the extra time for holiday inn

Years ago Budget Inn was really nice, clean and selective about the people. So, when my female friend invited back there, I was quick to say yes. Today, I'm not as eager to visit. Some of the residents were rude, intimidating, had lived as if they were living on the streets. Again, I do not mean to offend those that weren't all that I had mentioned above. I gave it at most 2stars.

Indian owner stalks the place. A little too up in your business, the room smelled like an ash tray so we kept the door open. Owner came over said keep noise down and close the door. We definitely were not being loud at all. Ive worked in hotel service for some time and this was definitely not the way to treat people. I mean come on..

Pricing was among the best in February, but did not go down for summer. Has restrictions on guests coming by and owners aren't the friendliest. Place I was in did not have bugs or other unwanted guests... Does have a big flatscreen mounted on the wall, has cable, no Wi-Fi, AC/heat unit is a lot outdated, has full size refrigerator. But has few cabinets(storage space) and only 1 - 2 drawer dresser and 1 - 1 drawer nightstand.

We were exhausted and only had 60$ but our 10 and 12 year old were starving. The gentleman in the office was so nice and made it so my kids could eat and sleep . Rooms are nice but we felt very welcomed. Almost like family. Thank you!!! We really needed that.

Second worse hotel ever been to, please remind never to go back, key on door had to play with just to in and out room and evey time some walk by room on deck the hotel shook like a heard of elephants were going by. I even talk to the receptionist at desk about key thing but refuse get me another room. There had there security guy try it and he said if kinds work you got to use it.

The bed was extremely comfortable, it was quiet, the security guy was extremely nice and helpful, and the water pressure in the shower was phenomenal.....BUT.... I was in Mesa on business. Who knew (not me) that it was Spring Training (baseball) It took three hours tp finally find a hotel (this one) because I had already driven 9 hrs, and refused to pay $100 per night for my two night stay in Mesa. First I was told no vacancy, when the sign out front said VACANCY. Then the man said $75 per night, cash only. Ok. Cool. Full size refrigerator, with not one single plug to plug it in. My sheets were dirty, I requested and they changed them, I was told they had no clean comforter. I went tp purchase a can of Lysol and drenched the bed, even tho sheets got changed, and the entire comforter. The ONLY plug available (besides the bathroom) was behind the bed, it was so loose I had to use folded over tissue to wedge between plug and bed to stay connected. I'll never go here again. For $75 I DON'T CARE WHAT EVENT IS IN TOWN, I expect better.
