This is no longer a hotel! Do not book on the website! We booked in March and were NEVER notified it was closed! It was just supposed to be a place to sleep on a long trip. Got there after 11:00. Place was dark, but cars everywhere. Called the number on website. Gentleman texted me the # to call direct telling me they might be in the restroom and hung up. Called the #, and the next gentleman tells me it hasn’t been a hotel since May and it’s not his problem! Not a good situation!! Minus 100 stars!
I haven't even left yet and I'm so disturbed that I have to stay here that I have to write this. I think they are more used to people living here than travelers. I drove 9 hours today and didn't check the reviews before booking online and just chose the cheapest.. huge mistake. There's blood on the picture frames and walls.... the blinds just fell off when I tried to close them. The first room they offered I refused because a man in muddy boots had clearly walked through it. (So..it wasn't cleaned??) They do not keep the room on a mild temp so if it's 100 degrees outside you might as well just get back in your car because it's gonna be an hour before you can stand it. Ill note that they offered a refund, but through the website I used which DOES NOT offer any refund same day booking. So I was stuck. I also had to borrow a fly swatter from the office and spend 30 minutes killing them before I could sanely stand in here. Everything is stained and dirty.. the towels smelled like someone's backside,(bedding smell is not great either and the room itself smells like mold) and I'm honestly kicking myself in the butt for not just turning around and calling the loss. I'll have to use my own sheets and bag them for my travel back because I'm so afraid of bedbugs right now. I left on a solo roadtrip for an adventurous vacay.. I just didn't think THIS adventurous where I'm literally scared for my life if I didn't have my German shepherd with me. Also... the TV didn't even have a power source and there's no trash can in here.. so. Honestly? I would have been better off sleeping in my effing car.
The new managers are really taken care of the place in upgrading the rooms they really care about their guests. My family and I have enjoyed our stay here they make you feel like a part of their family I love it here and would suggest it to anybody
I LOVED my stay. The place is simple, my needs were met, the staff were kind and accommodating. Also, I’ve been to “Higher quality” hotels just to wake up unrested and in pain, but these beds were SOOOOOOOO comfortable. I’ve truthfully been telling my family members about the bed quality constantly, because of how comfortable they were ❤️ It sounds like a lot of the problems that others met with were due to poor management, but the current, new management and staff have been diligent in making repairs, addressing concerns, and going above and beyond to ensure that the quality of their customers’ stays was held to a positive standard. If I come this way again, I WILL be staying here again
Let’s start by staying if I could give 0 stars I would. This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed and I’ve stayed in some dumps snowmobiling. I can speak for room 212 and it’s kinda like a jail cell. The shower was so moldy I wouldn’t even shower in it. Don’t look at the mattress or the pillows just put on your own sheets. I wouldn’t waste your hard earned money on this place, not to mention its says $49 online and they charge you 90 when you show up. Just stay anywhere else like by the dumpster out back might be better.
This is the worst hotel I have ever seen. When I went to check in the girl was laying on the floor behind the front desk. I said hello and she got up and helped me. The first room wouldn't open. Apparently destroyed. Got a new room key. It opened. There was a dresser turned over in middle of the room with broken sheet rock everywhere. The light switch was talked in the off position. The 3rd room was just cleaned. It smelled so strong of cheap pinesol my eyes burned. By this time the front office was dark. I packed up dropped the key in Dropbox and let. The mastress was stained. The sheets were stained. The comforter had a cigarette burn hike in it. Yuck yuck yuck we didn't even stay 5 minutes in clean room.
Place is a dump. Run down property. They have rooms in movable shacks. Potholes all over property. no street lights around property. My car suffered huge body scratch due to driving over big pothole. They advertise breakfast, but NO breakfast. Room floors sticky, slimy yucky. Couldn't walk without slip ons. Curtains torn in shower. Room strong smoke and rust smell. Beds & pillows dirty. 1 of Bedsheets weas newer but had hair all over. Wifi won't work anywhere. Total dump. Total waste of money booking online. Too high price paid for this dump. I wish i could demand refund.
I reserved a room here because 1- it was cheap and 2- it's pet friendly. I didn't even check in. I had no desire to wade through the (not kidding) 10 crackheads that were milling about. One of them propositioned my husband from the corner that she appeared to be working (right next to the hotel) as we drove by. Nope. I prefer to sleep at night. So glad we didn't stop!!!
