Be careful! Not a vacation destination if at the lake! BEDBUGS AS WELL! Thought because we were in the south we had brought in a tick? Definitely not! my kid was ate up and we brought the bugs home! As well as the inhabitants of this spot were very shady! Front desk was very rude lives behind the desk or something.
I highly recommend not to stay here unless you like Beg bugs, roaches, rooms that smell like mold. Beds are on metal frames and the mattress is nothing more than a trailer futon mattress.Unless you are very very cheap just don't waste your money or time!!!
Everything was great at this hotel. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Excellent property and very convenient Front desk staff are extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting in South hill.
I highly recommend budget inn express in south hill va !Very nice rooms,excellent room service.The people here are just great.You couldn't ask for better people they are there when ever you need them and will help you in any and every way possible.They accept you and make you feel like family.Im So happy I got to meet these wonderful people.they have so much love in their hearts and the rooms are perfect!
Very old motel. The floor in my room sagged when I walked on it. I slept on top of the comforter because I didn't feel comfortable getting IN the bed. I was lost and exhausted when I saw the place and at that point anything was better than sleeping in the car. LOL
Cockroaches.dead body in room next to us she was dead for 4 days.smelled.management.kept peeking in room.animals abandoned in rooms.kept raising Price . couldn't speak English too well|Stay chemicals in room pets died
Absolutely terrible, spiders and cobwebs in most every corner of each room, mold growing on walls, the bathroom smelled like it had never been cleaned. I stayed there for about 30 minutes, finally worked up the courage to pull back the bedspread, immediately loaded up my stuff and left. DO NOT BOOK HERE.
Booked this room through Hotwire on Tuesday April 2, 2019. Checked in we couldn’t even stay the conditions were horrific. The pillows were dirty with blood stains. Infested with bed bugs. Cobwebs in the ceilings. Bathroom was dirty .... hair throughout .... we turned our keys back in and had to find another hotel ASAP....it was extremely disappointing because I book through Hotwire all the time and this place was below there standards!!!! Also have pictures to post and to support my review!!!!

Hole in the wall with great service and food! Everything is made here! Brisket is good, a little too much grease. Mac&cheese, perfect. Potato salad, good. Bathrooms are clean. Get dessert also homemade! Only have a few tables, but also have old-time

Oh. My. Gosh. Hands down, the best spaghetti and Italian food I have ever had. Ever. Everything was homemade. My husband said the same about the veal dish he got. You know itâs amazing when you barely even speak while eating except the âOhhhâsâ
My husbandâs grandmother took me here on a thrifting day and it was nice! Trinkets and nostalgia in every nook and cranny. If you are thrifty give this flea market a try!
It was our first time here and we absolutely loved it! Staff was super helpful and nice. We didn't wait long for the food either. Place was clean and tidy. Will definitely visit again when coming to US.
