Budget Inn Durango - Motel in Durango - 3077 Main Ave, USA

Overall, it's not the worst stay. I've seen worse. Linens were clean, and no hair was found. However, I found hair in the bathroom. One hand towel had yellow stains. A/C was loud. It's ok. Just enough for 1 night staying. Service at the front desk was welcoming and courteous.

The room was clean and the front desk was kind and welcoming. Parking is awful but I think that's the deal with anything in Durango. We actually had a reserved parking space (one for each room) so that really helped. We slept well. No noise. I would stay again.

I have a high tolerance but this does it for me. I was put in a room that smells like cat piss. I decided to go car camp because the smell was that potent. If I paid $50 a night, i totally get it, "You get what you pay for". This? For $90 a night? Nah.... I had to leave after dropping $90 because I couldn't breath in my room. Again, I understand "you get what you pay for" but the smell of cat piss is waaaayyyyy too much. I don't want to throw them under the bus, but that is where i draw the line. 🤷‍♀️ (I say $90 but I used a 3rd party and actually paid $106. I am rounding up)

The 3 queen beds was nice to have for the night but they should really take the photo of the pool off Google. THERE IS NO POOL. The one photo that shows dirt filled up in the pool is the way it actually looks today. This motel is most definitely not good for families. AVOID THIS MOTEL if you are looking for a decent stay in Durango.

We booked the 3 queen beds room. It had lots of space and we needed the beds. But the room smelled musty. As soon as you walked in, the smell hit you! The cleaning was basic and looked like it wasn't really deep cleaned. There were stains on the pillows and the towels were fraying, thin, and stained. We stayed for 3 nights and they never cleaned the toilet. The pool was full of dirt. We will not be staying again. It's not worth the cheap price.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The curtains were torn, bedding old, bathroom area not clean, frig and wall AC unit very noisy. Towels although plentiful were very scratchy. Hotel charged fur ice- no in room coffee

Autant le dire de suite un Hôtel à ce prix sur Durango faut pas s'attendre à du 3*** ! |Au premier abord et surtout de l'extérieur on se dit qu'on a fait un mauvais choix ?|Et puis il y a John qui vous attend , avec une attention personnelle, avec un énorme sourire et une réelle envie de bien recevoir ( hôtel tenu depuis les années 70 par ses parents) |Certes les chambres sont vieillottes , mais l'essentiel est la ( frigo , micro-ondes, TV, climatisation fonctionnelle récente) et surtout c'est parfaitement propre , on nous a même refait le lit ( nous sommes restés 2 nuits) , changé les serviettes, poubelles, .....|Lit double un peu bondissant mais correct|Le point noir c'est la mauvaise insonorisation dû au simple vitrage et proximité de la route ( peu de trafic la nuit)|Et John est tout heureux de vous proposer le café dès 8h le matin !|Notre voisin est un hobo qui travaille actuellement comme mécanicien au "train" et il.noys confirmé que les "locaux" qui voulaient du fonctionnel pas cher venaient ici ,|Au final ? : si vous cherchez du pas cher mais propre quitte à ne pas avoir ke charme vous ne serez pas déçu !

For the price this was a castle. I wish I could think of his name but the man who checked me in was fantastic. The room was just okay but for 60 bucks a night you're not expecting much. Location is great and it was quiet and I got a great rest.
