Budget Inn-Charleston - Motel in North Charleston - 6155 Fain St, USA

Unfortunately I have to suggest travelers to be very careful and if you can find another place, please spend a few extra dollars and save yourself some disappointment. The rooms are poorly cleaned, and there are "country cousins" (roaches). The last time I tried this place, the room was filthy, and I found moldy clothes in the drawer. I was offered another room but unfortunately it was not properly cleaned either. I was willing to try again, taking the time that passed since the last time. I don't believe I am going to make that decision again

Clean room. Nice big TV . We stayed near the front office & our room had recently been remodeled. The staff are friendly & professional too.

Was there to pick my daughter up, but I have had a room there last year and it was filthy the tub had a big clump of hair in it, the floor wasn't swept nor moped and had cigarette ashes on it. The service was terrible because I told the young lady who was cleaning about it and she said that she would come back to clean it and never did. So me and my girlfriend never took a shower again. I even called the office and the lady said that there was nothing that she could do. I would never stay at this hotel again or recommend this hotel to anyone. The lady at the office didn't try to do anything, not even as giving us another room or at least a free night. I just know that I would never go there again.

I stayed at this place 4 years ago and it was great. Things still looked nice, rooms were decent for the age of the hotel and the owners were great about getting things fixed that broke. But when I stayed there last week it was basically the opposite. Rooms were worn and damage all over. They have almost every room filled with Mexican workers who are all real loud all thru the night and play Mexican music all night long on full blast. It's really gone to hell and it is not even worth the price anymore

Standard motel room, comfy bed, great fridge & TV. Has a microwave but we didn't use it, it was clean tho. Pretty clean, esp the floor. I wore white socks & they didn't get all black, just a little dirty. Great service as always. Can't find anywhere as nice for $80 total a night!! Highly recommend Budget Inn of North Charleston!

Please if you value your life stay far away I rented a room so I could let the work that was just done on my floors and bathrooms tile to dry so being tired and just wanting a hot shower and a bed has been a complete nightmare we checked in pretty late and tired my granson was already out so I never really turned on lights to make sure it was clean has cost me I have copd and my grandson asthmatic I was woken 4 hours later with my granson going into respitory failure and my breathing starting the same thing so I looked to see what the cause was and omfg black mold everywhere and that's just the beginning the beds had filthy and I mean filthy sheets when I pulled the sheets off one of the beds was infested with bed bugs everything we took there had to be trashed and not only bedbugs but vomit on the sheets it gets worst the pictures will show just how bad this is unacceptable and not to mention my granson is still hospitalized we were there 1/26/24 and they know what is going on there that's the reason they are trying to cover liability for endangering people with the notice on receipt it's illegal to rent with a black mold problem to start with and I've read other posts with the same complaints for a few years back have you not addressed this issue? I know why you are booked solid with illegal Mexicans who won't say nothing to keep from being deported or desperate people whom have no choice and are close to homeless .. ooh and how about the blood everywhere in there I take it probably a brawl and just won't pay for cleaners to clean the rooms properly and if you do have a housekeeping staff they should be fired how can you do this? I am not about to fight you over a refund you think you are covered with it is way beyond that I will be in an attorney's office first thing in morning someone has to be held accountable for this I tried to post pics but for some reason I can't or are blocked and I guarantee you every fake good review on here is what I said fake or they posted funny all the pictures that you can see on here are a employee I've never not been able to post pictures on any review but we know why now don't we

Rooms by far and a whole wow surprised me to the good for the rarest of times. For the price and name i wasnt expecting much more than a rough bed, a roommate or dozen in the form of creepy roaches or worse. And boy was i wrong on all counts.
