Budget Inn & Suites - Motel in Des Moines - 5220 NE 14th St, USA

Front desk was 0 help, room had feces on ceiling and some substance on the wall above the bed. Ceiling was falling down, towels in bathroom were dirty, holes all over the ceiling and walls. If you're looking to have a great vacation story stay here!

I have rented the Jacuzzi room, the toilet backed up sewage into our room, very unpleasant experience, and they offered no discount or anything. Also their TV system is so complicated I've always had to have them come to turn it on. Additionally last week I was towing a camper and had a mechanical issue and ai had pulled in their parking lot, spoke to the desk clerk about leaving the camper there for a day or 2 so I could fix the truck. He said as long as it wasn't in the way of anything it would be no problem. It was in the very back in a corner spot with nothing around it. The next day it was gone, impounded, cost 450 to get it out. I'm glad they took the Bavarian Haus name off there, cuz they are running that place into the dirt.

It is actually maybe a half a star but even that is too much. The room smelled like bug spray. Curtains didn't close had to rig them up. Microwave was busted and nasty. Walls are extremely dirty. Area was very sketchy. One night was too much.

My company had us staying there about 15 years ago and I found the biggest spider you’ve ever seen. The size of a 58 Buick. I was bitten there several times and was glad when we left. It was a German themed motel then.

You all think this bad why didn't you drive 2 blocks down to motel 6 where all drugs in d.m. are I was rapped there cause they kept giving my room key to a guy without my permission. You think this bad!!!!!!

There was no locks on the doors to come into the building. The pillows where almost flat and the TV would only stay on for 5 minutes then shut off .

The TV wouldn't stay on for longer than 5 minutes the pillows on the bed was flat and the mattress was hard.

Could hear the conversation in the next room. TV kept shutting off. Chilly. Had a smell. For $80 I was not impressed and do not recommend it to anybody.
