Budget Inn Albany - Motel in Albany - 2727 Pacific Blvd SE, USA

Me and my boyfriend have been living here at the budget inn and have had nothing but amazing service from Ms Polly who works at front desk she always helps when we need it and is very attentive to our needs. It may seem rough on the outside but it’s really not to bad.

If I could give it no stars I would...I don't recommend this place at all, you check in at a little window and house keepers "forget" to clean rooms (unheard of) rooms are nasty and you take the chance of not getting the room you paid for because it was never cleaned. The rooms are high priced and your required to pay $100 deposit for a dive (NO TELL MOTEL). If you can't find a room anywhere else sleep in your car pretty sure it's cleaner than this place.

I didn't actually hate it, but I couldn't possibly bring myself to recommend this place to anyone I don't *loathe.* I might object to staying here and saving $5, in the future. The bed was kinda springy, and areas of it definitely smelled like pee. And I'm not high maintenance -- I even slept on the bed despite the pee smell. Finally, the blanket was the absolute lamest motel blanket I've ever come across. It was thin & raggedy & nothing like a comforter style blanket. And there was no top sheet. It would be worth paying an extra $5-10 for a half decent bed and normal size comfy blanket. If you're in the business of providing a place for people to sleep, it would behoove you to provide adequate sleeping accommodations....

I called the paramedics on Friday when the people next to me and below me were smoking and selling meth and cigarettes. I couldn't catch my breath. My heart was going fast and I couldn't get a breath. I called the office the next day and told them what happened and today they say no vacancies and refused to take my rent she told me I had to leave in 1 hour. I am elderly and terminally ill with asthma and congestive heart failure. Is this what kind of people are making decisions and no compassion for the elderly. How dare I call the paramedics so I can breathe. The paramedics told me there is drain cleaner with lye, acetone and melted batteries etc in meth. At this rate of meth usage they will never live to be elderly and I have seen meth users out there talking to dumpster enclosures and stop signs. Where is the owners on this kind of customer service. A higher power than me will be paying attention on this kind of abuse.

Staff was ready to help when our quest had a breakdown and caused a scene and became abusive towards us as they kicked him off property so we didn't have to press charges against our old acquaintance or worry about him coming back to bug us.

No frills, good place to live/ sleep. Train noise might bother some people, but at my age, I've learned to block out noises like that.

Very friendly service! Much nicer than the motel 6 next door. Great rooms, very spacious outdoor area connected to the back of the rooms. Fantastic location in the heart of Albany. Loved the stay here! 10/10 will be staying here again!!!! Highly recommend if you’re on a tight budget. Very friendly!
