Budget Inn - Motel in Williamsport - 2295 Lycoming Creek Rd, USA

This place is not worth paying anything for. The door handles were sticky. Bathroom door handle was like touching sticky gum. Two wall lights were not even there only part of fixtures left on the wall and wires were exposed. Bathroom mirror was shattered. Wall was paper thin. Next door were fighting from 2:30am on for hours. We could hear every single words were said between the couple. No working phone to call front desk. No one there to take care if you encounter any issues. No comforters so no way to cover ears to block out any sound during their fights. Again there is no way to ask for one from the front desk as no one was there.

If you're looking for cheap and convenient then this will work. Room was small, but clean enough. Check-in was super easy (as was checkout). They said I was supposed to get a king sized bed, but it was a queen - no big deal as the prices where the same and I was by myself...but still. Walls in the bathroom were a bit beat up, and toilet paper holder was broken. BUT, the bathroom was clean, had soap, ample towels (also clean), and normal sized shower. Sink did run super slow though. Carpet in the room could use a cleaning, and definitely don't take the sheets off the bed - the naked mattress will definitely show you its age. Air conditioner seemed newer and worked great - and the TV, remote, and all lights lamps. All in all, for the price and for a single night, it was fine.

I stayed at this Budget Inn for two nights and it worked out well for me. The owners live right there on the property. Priti, who owns the hotel with her husband, was friendly and nice to me and spoke to me respectfully. The room I stayed in was on the first floor, and it was pretty much new and very clean. Everything in the bathroom was new and clean. New sink/counter, new-ish shower surround, new-ish floor. New-ish mirror and paint. Just really nice and clean and roomy bathroom. The main room was quite roomy, with two beds. I didn't need two beds, but this was the room they gave me and it was rather impressive. There was a larger-than-normal refrigerator with a truly separate freezer compartment, so I could keep ice cream there and it stayed truly frozen. There was a microwave that was a bit smaller than usual, but it worked well and it was clean. The entire room was very clean, and yes they do change the sheets out and exchange them with clean ones when you check out .... I hung out in my car in the parking lot for a bit (because there was no lobby to sit in) after I checked out, and saw the housekeeping guy diligently cleaning rooms and taking used sheets off the beds and replacing them with clean ones. There are no shortcuts with cleanliness here and the owners and staff are quite conscientious about it. No coffee! That's right - there is no coffee pot in the room. And no coffee available in the lobby because the lobby is closed, like literally locked so you can't get in. There are two coffee pots there in the lobby, and the lobby looks nice and clean and comfortable and inviting ..... but it is off-limits, and guests are not welcome there. This is a shame because it looks like such a nice clean cozy little area, and it would be enjoyable to sit there in the morning sipping on coffee and chatting with the owners or whoever is at the desk or with other guests ... you know, just to be neighborly and friendly. The owners have decided not to offer any coffee at all and not to let anyone in the lobby area because it would be a little extra work ..... but I wish they would reconsider this decision, because having that area open would be a way that they could get to know their guests better, and form a better bond with the folks staying there. Plus it would be really nice to have some way to get coffee in the morning .... there is a convenience store right across the street, but unbelievably, that convenience store does not have coffee either. It is bizarre that the only hotel I have ever been at that does not have coffee is right across the street from the only convenience store that I have ever been at that doesn't have coffee. Any time I am in the Williamsport area, I will stay here at this Budget Inn, because the owner Priti was nice and respectful to me and because the room was so clean and new and because the price is reasonable. It is bothersome that there is no coffee, so I will have to bring an electric coffee pot from home and make a trip to Walmart to buy a can of coffee, so that I can make it in the room. This is an inconvenience, but it's just what you have to do if you want coffee and if you want to stay at this nice motel with the reasonable rate.

I was treated poorly because the owner mistook me for my sister. Being discriminated against sucks and he tried to give me a room he could watch me in. Which is super creepy as I am woman staying alone in a hotel. When I asked to move he insisted I was trying to party because a friend who was dropping me off was helping me with bags. I ultimately got a refund and took my business elsewhere. He even called me by my sisters' name and tried to tell me he didn't and act like he didn't know her. Then slipped up and called me Emily again. I've stayed there previously and the beds are hard with barely any blankets just duvet covers but nothing in them. The only reason I booked there was the price and it is close to my home. I had gotten in a fight with a family member and needed somewhere to go and it was close and I worked the next morning. It doesn't look vacuumed or dusted. I don't believe they change sheets between visits. This is the second time I've noticed this here. Would not recommend it.

DO NOT STAY HERE, they enter your room without telling u I was in the shower. And I hit them with the home alone tim curry, they think they are the only ones to speak Spanish i heard everything and they harassed me if u do go there tell them God bless America our flag still stands there ATTENTION they didn't like the room ho it was left so this fellow at the hotel decided to send me threatening messages, I blocked four numbers, saying very nasty things, the problem is they don't know who I can't wait till these hotel people get to know the law, and how it works get ready I got every single message

The staff, particularly the owner and his wife, were miserable to us. They were extremely rude and almost combative to us. They like to know everything you are doing. It was not a great experience.

Positive: It was close to where I needed to be. Negative: The first room they gave me had no heat. The second room was dirty. There were random boards laying on the floor. At least the bathroom and the sheets seemed clean. I had prepaid. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have stayed. I won't stay there again. Negative: ""

It’s a 2 star motel… didn’t expect much and that’s essentially what I got. Running water (doesn’t get too hot), mini fridge (doesn’t get too cold), bed, toilet, you get the picture. The person working the front desk openly told me that “the owners were not there” and that she “didn’t really know what she was doing”, which made me nervous and made the check in time take about half an hour. WiFi instructions were not given to me, but I called the front desk and got the password immediately. The entire situation just felt kind of weird. The stay worked for me, someone who had to stay for a night because the roads were so bad, but I wouldn’t recommend staying for any longer than one night.
