Older but the price is right, the rooms were clean, the area seemed safe.
Not worth the price ! Bedding has disgusting stains, ceiling looks like it’s going to fall when it rains, phone doesn’t work and I wouldn’t dare get in the shower w/o shoes ! They will not refund your money. I will say the maintenance man did all he could to make things better.
The Budget Inn punches above its weight. We knew it wouldn't be fancy - but at least the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We needed a place to sleep for the night. It did the job well - and it was easy to walk around town from there.
This is the cheapest place in town but it should be cheaper. Both bedsheets were full of hair with very odd stains. The rooms were relatively clean with a bit of an odd smell but not too bad. Ice doesn't work, forget about breakfast. Bring your own shampoo. What is provided is the smallest amount of shampoo I've ever seen. Staff is not friendly. The only positives were the water pressure and that the TV and AC worked. Ok for a hunting/fishing trip but plan to sleep on sleeping bags on top of the bed. No woman in my household would stay here.
Very comfy CLEAN rooms. The building is old but well kept. The carpet is clean and I could tell it is shampoo cleaned regularly. Rooms smell fresh and CLEAN (no cigarette smell lingering) .yes I said rooms because I had to rent 3 for the size of family I have and we were caught in the snow storm with no motels in San Angelo. The people were very friendly and welcoming big smiles and attentive. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Close to grocery store and food. They provide towels and toilet paper. If u want shampoo bring ur own. Overall my family and I were satisfied with our stay. Thank you for making our stay comfortable. It is greatly appreciated. The Freeman Family.
I've been here for almost a month and honestly it's a good place. It's VERY basic. I don't recommend for extended stay, we have made due. San Angelo has decent options too, my choice is based on the drive to work everyday. Rooms are definitely antiquated. Big bed, great water pressure and really hot water at the end of a day, can't put a price on that. And the people here will bend over backwards to help you or get whatever it is you need. Sometimes personality supercedes my own wants and this is a definite deal if you're looking for one.
I like this hotel. The people who run it are nice but also seem security conscious. The AC is freezing, there's good TV, its quiet and the sheets and bed were clean. It's in a really convenient spot, you can walk to restauraunts. The carpet needs to be replaced and the shower is old, but it wasn't dirty. I enjoy staying here.
The rooms have been redone, nice big bed with comfortable linens and plenty of covers so you stay warm. New carpet as well. Has an ac mounted, w a remote so the room stays at a good temperature.|The bathroom is a bit small, there's no vanity so getting ready can be a juggling challenge but there's a huge mirror by the bed that can be used instead. |The front staff are friendly and easy to work with as well.
We had to waste a few hours when we got to Ballinger before we could check into our hotel so I found this park. I thought it was a great park. A lot of shade, picnic areas, there were some RVs on the far back side so would be a good place to bring
