We were faced with NO rooms available - Darlington race w/e. After many No Vacancy - we came upon the Budget Inn All negatives. Mold in shower area, Rock Hard mattresses Parking lot littered with recently discarded/ Urine soaked old mattress. It will be One time stay
Place is a serious dump. Got a room to sleep for a few hrs while on my road trip. the min I walked in I walked right back out smelling like straight cigarettes. The sheets are full of holes the walls are dirty the floors are disgusting omg I get chills thinking about it. It should be a scary hotel, I swear I was in a movie of terror. This place is a health hazard. Not worth even $10 dollars a night. Grossed out completely. 😂 it legit woke me up. I drove another 5 hrs to get my mind off this horrendous place.
The best compliment I can pay this motel is that having stayed there one night on my way north on Interstate 95, I stayed there again on my way back!. Over the years, I have found that Lumberton, NC, is a good halfway stop on long I-95 road trips, and I have stayed at quite a number of the motels that line the Interstate between Exits 17 and 22. From now on, this Budget at Exit 17 will be my preferred lodging here. You can park in front of your assigned room underneath an awning. Room furnishings are old but functional. Comfortable bed. Small fridge and microwave in room. The owners are from India and take pride in their little motel - the lasting impression I have of the place is the attention to cleanliness. Quiet surroundings. There is a Hardee's, Waffle House, McDonald's, and Ruby Tuesday about a half-mile away from this motel, conveniently located next to the Interstate entrance/exits. You'll be hard put to find a cheaper room rate in the area - and if you do, I'm certain your room will not be as comfortable or clean as at this Budget. My one recommendation: perhaps an in-room coffeemaker?
No coffee maker, and dingy, dirty, dusty rooms. The beds are as hard as the ground. I really wanted to leave but my husband was exhausted after a long drive, so we stayed. The door had so much dirt or fingerprints over it that it was no longer white. I shudder to think I stayed at this place.
Ac worked, plumbing worked, room in bad need of maintenance, of 5 drawers in room, 1 was screwed closed, 2 we're broken and unusable, front door had gaps you could see light through. Walls were dirty in need of cleaning and painting,
To start, the gentleman that checked us in was very nice. The room was big and clean! The mattress was even decent. The area is quiet so it was a pleasure. We only stayed one night but we would do it again.
I stayed 1 night. The man at the front desk was very pleasant. The hotel is older, but well kept, very clean. Great rate, and quiet. I had a great sleep. Would stay again when traveling.
My parents stayed here frequently & had no problems, I went to rent a room for someone less fortunate and they initially told me that there were single rooms available. When the less fortunate person walked in the manager at the counter stated rudely that he had no rooms available. He profiles the person just because he looked less fortunate than me or him. My parents will NEVER stay here again! We do not agree with or go along with discrimination and that's exactly what he did!!!
I absolutely loved dining here! I really wish we had a place like this back home. The food was very good while being reasonably priced. But my favorite part was the environment. The decor is very eclectic and homey which i enjoyed a lot. They have pa
Such a cute idea They have all the cool kid things they have at all the big city childrenâs museumâs right here in Lumberton. The grandchildren loved it!. Nice job Lumberton
This is absolutely the BEST Breakfast, I had ever eaten. We were told by many YOU need to try this place out! We did today oh my, they have so much to choose from for breakfast. The food is on point absolutely delicious! Itâs worth the wait and we
A fun place to find unique vintage items or simply just peruse to pass the time! I know a lot of people are very into vintage Pyrex and this warehouse is a goldmine for it, and at reasonable prices too! The cashiers were kind and a joy to talk to!
Handsdown best deserts in town. The croissants and 15 layer chocolate cake are amazing. They also have a great breakfast selection include the old country staple liver pudding. I just wished they stayed open longer instead of closing at 4pm everyday
My first time visiting Jay's Country Kitchen, and I was EXTREMELY pleased. The waitress, Liz, was SO nice and VERY efficient! Even though they were steadily busy, our orders came out quickly. Eggs, bacon, 2 omelettes, pancakes, grits, toast (no biscu
We came in this evening and enjoyed the complimentary hush puppies, we tried the oyster stew, clam chowder, and seafood gumbo. We then ordered the deluxe broiled platter, which was perfectly prepared, and the small fried platter, which was deliciou
