I am living here temporarily
because i like my space not because I don't have a place to live, I don't feel comfortable anyway nowadays but I have family and friends who are watching out when no one thinks they are...just waiting on my husband to come home and I'm outta Mississippi.
Decent hotel. The only thing they should’ve done different was let us know that they didn’t have a single bed bc when we got there we asked for a single bed and she said she only had a two bed which was $10 more a night. No biggie there just should have been better communication
I have been patient with the owner and ask to change rooms they were RUDE as if it's my fault for having standards. THE sheets are old and are stained!!! I told them if they could changed my room I would stay another night in a cleaner room They took my key and said they don't want my business!!! The owner and seem nice during check in but the wife talks to you like you're worthless and not like a paying customer then the husband true colors comes out as well . Any one reading this please don't send them or give them business lets show them they have to respect us not just our dollars!
The rooms are comfortable, all on the ground floor, and the location is great. The owner can tell you about things to do and music to hear. I sleep well every time I stay, which is 3 or 4 times per year. I attend 2 to 3 blues music festivals in Clarksdale per year and in October the King Biscuit in Helena Ark. (I stay here instead of Helena 30 miles away) This motel is clean and a very good value for spending the night. I phone the motel and reserve a room in advance of any blues festival. You may park right in front of your room, making it easy to move your stuff in and out. This place has the coldest air conditioner of anywhere I have every stayed, comes in handy for summer traveling.
Older motel and remodeled. Smallish room filled with firm (not hard) mattress, new fridge and microwave, flat screen TV. Bathroom had new tile, sink and shower/tub insert. Everything worked wonderfully. Hotel is conveniently located near town and shopping. Rooms are set back from the road and very quiet. Clean, comfy and quiet room at a bargain price.
The rooms are absolutely disgusting! The sheets were brown and smelled horrible. Roaches were everywhere and there was no hot water. In fact the water wasn't even warm. It was cold. These people wouldn't even give me a refund and were extremely rude. If I could rate them a negative five I would. Please do not stay in this "motel". This motel is a serious health hazard.
Clean rooms, very quiet, clean bathroom, good shower, all necessary things you need in a hotel room (flat screen TV, ironing board, microwave, fridge etc). But the best of all were all recommendations the owner gave us. We would have missed a lot of fun and great music if he hadn't told us where to go!
Full points because it is conveniently located, cheap, and clean - what more would you want from your motel? Ken, the manager, seems to work 24/7 for his guests - friendly guy who made sure we left with good advice on how to continue our trip. We paid $55 for our room. The second-cheapest option we had found elsewhere was at around $90, so we got a good deal.
On a cold Wednesday night in January we came here after we saw a flyer a blue cotton bake shop we needed to check bad apples blues club out. And we are so happy that we did! It was a very special hart touching night with a lot of live music and histo
Go see the new sales associate Caressa for assistance. She was absolutely amazing. She made my experience of furniture shopping a whole lot easier. She was also very polite. She helped me to pick out the best furniture. I am very grateful.
Great night listening to "Reverent" Roberts. Met Stan Street as a wonderful host, working hard, like most of Clarkesdale, to keep the sound and those vibes alive. Thanks Stan!
