Budget Inn - Motel in South Gate - 9014 Long Beach Blvd, USA

I came and asked the female worker a day ahead of time if I could come check in early the next day and would I get a clean room with microwave and refrigerator, she said yes. I returned the next day to check In and there was a male worker who was very rude and he didn't want to sell me a room even though it was clearly rooms available, I told him I spoke to a lady the day beforehand and she said it was okay... so he ended up charging me $25 extra than what the female worker said to actually get a room, when he gave me the room it was filthy and had a old TV no microwave or refrigerator, the carpet was disgusting and smelled like dog and just not up to par which was crazy because I saw the room the female worker was gonna give me and it was way cleaner with the amenities I asked for...I asked the guy to switch because it's not the cleanest and first he didn't want to kept saying it is not available and when I would ask again he said I can check out so I waited a day then asked again he tried lying and telling me the cleaner room is more money because it's clean and has the amenities.. so I paid .. then asked the guest in the room right next to me how much they charge and he said the original price the lady told me so yea ... anyway I just felt as though he was being racist because he tried giving me the dirtiest room they had im African American so i think that's why he was charging me more for regular room and trying to give me the dirtiest one

DO NOT STAY HERE. If you value your health and worth of your money do not stay here. Beds were disgusting and dirty, cockroaches, stains on the pillows and sheets, lights either did not work or would not shut off, I wish I could give this zero stars or even negative stars. After staying here for one night the owner will price gouge and try to increase the cost for the next night by $20 even though you have the reservation online the owner is not honest and will lie and not honor your reservation. This is the greasiest, slimiest motel I've ever stayed in. This is worse than the motel you see in breaking bad.

What can I say, It's a Motel..no deposit required, Offer hourly rates which is good/bad depending how you look at it. Owners & staff are friendly however the rooms could use some updating and better maintenance. Good if your just going for a quick smash 🤟but not somewhere you take a nice date to. 💃🕺

The room was clean, had clean towels and the a.c. worked. I can't say much more positive since the t.v. had missing buttons, the carpet looked old and too many crackheads. It's not family friendly and had roaches. The cleaning lady was polite and did a good job on what seems an old motel. They need to upgrade furniture and fumigate

My experience was horrific! The room was okay but the carpet had notable stains. The comforter on the bed was dirty. I lifted the toilet seat and it was dirty. Their was no phone in the room to contact the attendant. Their was no iron or ironing board to borrow from the office. The sheets were clean and the air conditioning unit did work. The motel attendant was honest about what type of room and area that we were in. It was basically a motel for hourly prostitution. At around 4 a.m. we were awakened by a headboard nextdoor knocking on the wall, you can imagine as I, what that was! Lastly it wasn't even cost effective! I actually had to pay more because I wanted a non-smoking room that didn't smell like cigarette smoke and they only had a king bed left. I checked out the following day 30 minutes later than check out time, per my request, and payed an additional $7.00 .

I stayed at this motel for 2 nights and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The room was disgusting! crack heads and drug dealers all around at all hours of the night. I had developed an itch on my left arm and broke out with bumps all over my arm. They still haven't gone away and my stay was back at the beginning of February. I don't know if I Picked something up from this dirty ass place, but all I do know is I will never be staying there again. I definitely don't recommend to anyone! Especially people with kids.

It is the worst Motel I've ever been to there is bed bugs all over the mattress and it's filthy theres Roaches it is not worth the $100 they charge for the room at all

It's less expensive than all of the other hotel's around the area. However it is roach infested, unless you dont mind having roaches climbing over you while your sleeping. The keys had to be replaced almost on a daily basis. The refrigerators barely worked and you were lucky if you had a working microwave oven. They charge you a deposit when you rent on a weekly and the deposit depends on how many people are staying with you. There's mold under the sink and the garbage disposal doesn't work. The bathroom tub has a hanging faucet and the floor next to the run is ready to sink. Over all this place serves it's purposes when you're DESPIRATE for a place to stay temporarily. The cleaning staff are very friendly.
